As for coach Tozer getting fired I have been hearing the same news I have not confirm it , why would you extend his contract and then fire him if this is the case they need to just fold the team now .

The league is done from what I a hearing and will be rebranded , the press conference could be a bout the future of the wave and not about a new league , if a press conference is on the new league it will come from Baltimore and one of ED Hales offices .

I don't remember saying the press conference will be about the future of the league as a whole, as I said, they said they will 'discuss the league.' That can mean many things. I can say the presser was originally supposed to happen today but was delayed until next week.

rumors are just rumors. the guy is the winningest coach in indoor history and had another solid season this year. it would be one thing if the wave had a losing record, but this team had a very solid season and came up 3 goals short of going to the final. sue black imo wont be the owner of the wave for very long, if she fires tozer. who else in the league has the experience tozer does.
As I'm impatient, I emailed Sue Black and asked her if Tozer was fired. She said "he's still with the team". The rumor that he is no longer the coach is all over. I'm wondering if Sue was purposefully vague and Tozer will be given sone figurehead position but is out as head coach. Who knows.

I would love to be at that game, KC seems like such an awesome place to watch a game. I bet that place really gets rocking in the playoffs. I was so hoping there would be a KC/St Louis weekend road trip this season as I would have jumped at the chance to go see both games, just couldn't justify the trip for only one game...maybe next season.
