I want to surpass Meazza, only 6 more goals to go. 15 goals to surpass Nordahl, that would make Totti the 2nd highest goals scorer in Serie A history.

I think he can definitely surpass Meazza, maybe even this season. You think they'll name the Stadio Olimpico after Totti, it'll certainly purge the Curva Nord :D

Nordahl's record will be a harder challenge but would be a sweet wayto put the cherry on top of a marvelous career

How many assists does Totti have?

Trying to find assists stats past 2000 is tough for any league but particularly difficult for Italian football.

Too bad they don't count assists in the goal scoring charts like they've done in the USA for years. Two points for a goal and one point for an assist......

That's stupid, assists have a separate chart, and that's the proper way to do it.

They do? I've never seen an assist chart in international soccer. It may be stupid but Americans have in fact counted assists in an individual goal scoring statistic for as long as I remember and thats how the goal scorers are rated. As a matter of fact, during the NASL years, Giorgio Chinaglia of the NY Cosmos in 1979, even scored more goals than everyone else but lost the goal scoring crown because Oscar Fabbiani of the Tampa Bay Rowdies had more assists....

I would have to agree, goals are seperate. It makes no sense. Giorgio Chinaglia scored most goals but didnt get the award, that sounds wrong. There are 2 seperate awards. Messi and Nani where tied on 18 in the respective league's last year with Marvin Martin 3rd with 17. This is why I wanted Martin at Roma. He is nicknamed little xavi, an amazing player with still quite a low profile even though he made a stunning French debut, coming of the bench to score 2 and have an assist in the space of 30 mins. Not Bad!

There should be but there isn't a seperate or any chart for that matter, for assists. For as long as I've followed the game, going on 35+ years, I've never seen one. At least not internationally....

Not a goal but still a moment of pure unadulterated class from our captain:

aaaand this is why we love him :)!

in my opinion the first thing we could learn from the US, is to have more statistics! i mean, when im watching nfl they have statistics for everything! and i for one find it awesome! would love to be able to go to my football sites and see "clean sheets, dribbles per game, passing %, assists and goals i.e.

    GRANDE CAPITANO!

Too bad the ********ing keeper saved that second volley, 214 would've been a beauty.
