What's left to say other than here's one more match standing in the way between us and the end of this awful season. I won't be able to watch much of this one, so to anyone who has the stomach and the time to keep the updates flowing, it's much appreciated.
the injury issues never stop.... Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor should return from a gashed heel for Monday's visit of Sunderland. Vlad Chiriches and Paulinho are also back in contention but Roberto Soldado and Jan Vertonghen miss out with injuries sustained last weekend.
f*ing ridiculous. i say it again, there is something wrong with our medical staff. Sherwood was officially booted, ending his reign this summer. Hopefully he uses this now as a resume for his next gig, checking out will not do his career any good.
I'd really like to be in Europe next year. and there's an outside chance we could finish above the arse, should their current form blossom into a full-blown collapse. so there's plenty to play for. ... I'm reaching, here, aren't I?
Starting XI: ----------Adebayor-------Kane-------- Chadli---Paulinho--Eriksen--Lennon Rose---Chiriches---Kaboul---Naughton -----------------Lloris--------------------- Bench: Townsend, Sigurdsson, Friedel, Sandro, Fryers, Bentaleb, Veljkovic so we are basically attacking hard tonight. Would've preferred Sandro in a 3man midfield instead of Kane honestly... Would've opened Paulinho and Eriksen to attack more
i feel like the last sane person alive when i see those lineups i also feel like the last sane person alive when it's freaking obvious this is our best starting xi: -----Chadli/whoever-----Adebayor-----Lennon----- ------------------Eriksen------Paulinho---------------- --------------------------Sandro--------------------------- Rose------Chiriches--------------Kaboul-----Naughton ---------------------------Lloris---------------------------
didn't we all before? i don't know what telling him he is sacked now does versus waiting till the end of the season...
well they do have the "easy" part of the schedule coming... not that any match is easy for Spurs this season
just from watching the BBC feed, this sounds typical of spurs season against bottom table teams next line on the feed - Sunderland goal.
cant blame the manager for some of the crap play the defense has made at times. can blame him for the shape which puts the defense in a poor spot against the top teams tho...
Levy must be thrilled, he’s bound to get a good return on the £10 million he spent this summer or next.
It makes me sad and angry to even contemplate that but I fear you're correct. We should be building a team around Eriksen.
