one of the commenatators spoke about the medical staff trying to recusitate him; I think and hope that was just an imprecise phrase though; not sure they would have moved hin that fast

What the ********, Jon Champion? Awful form to talk about past players passing away on the field.

Then you do what John Barnes did, talk about the players that have survived. Or just end the broadcast.

I agree, I meant to express more what I fear rather than saying it was ok.

I can't see this ending well. I hope he pulls through, but if he wasn't breathing for that period of time there will be significant brain damage and I can't really see him playing football again. I hope he just lives at this point.

Everton Football Club on facebook reported that, "Great to hear the hospital reporting that Fabrice Muamba is in a stable condition. #prayformuamba"

This is fantastic news, I could not bare to see the players faces anymore, painful.:( C'mon Muamba, pull through buddy.

That is fantastic. I have to say that the attention he revived says alot about the medical staff that was on duty at the game. I'm so happy to hear this. Wow that was really scary. I hope he can regain functionality and return to normal very soon.

The Bolton statement says that he is criticaly ill but nothing more. I can understand why the family wants some privacy. I hope for the best.
