Yes, I agree with this assessment. Looks a good linking player with strong vision and tactical/decision making sense.
Osorio gets his first call up along with morgan, henry & bekker: http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...referral&utm_content=News&utm_campaign=Unpaid
Our young team did well against Costa Rica last night. As usual no goals but quite a few chances. Bekker showed that he ought to be playing for TFC regularly. Henry needs practice heading the ball.Best player on the field was the winger who plays for Edmonton. He was fast and tricky.
Bekker isn't a dribbler and kept drifting toward the middle. I really don't get why he gets played out wide for Canada. It seems pretty darn obvious to me when I watch him that he's a central player, not a wide player
Time to resurrect this thread for the simple reason that this is the first time ever that TFC has had someone playing in the world cup while they were with the team. We have never before been able to see FIFA web pages like these ones: http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/players/player=179038/index.html http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/players/player=233531/index.html
Yeah saw that too. Wasn't all that impressed with bradley. He seemed to have trouble connecting passes. He must have had the upcoming tfc game with rbny on his mind.
Julio Cesar hasn't played bad, either. The team in front of him, though? They look a tad out of sorts. Many have thought they would win the World Cup this year, but I'm not sure they'll do it playing like that. And yes, I know Julio Cesar is only with TFC on loan, but until he actually does go back to QPR, he's still TFC.
His world cup bio lists his current club as tfc, which is good enough for me. Plus, if you saw the video of his sendoff from the team, it looks like he is emotionally still a part of this team
To be fair the Mexican keeper made 3 world class stops - sure Brazil didn't score - but they definitely could have won 2 or three nil considering the chances they had.
Tim Cahill's world cup is done, which means that he could possibly be back with rbny for their game against tfc.
I'm kinda torn on this - a good showing at the WC for Bradley will have benefits for us when he returns. The flipside is that the better the US does the longer we're without our midfield general. Oh, and I can't bring myself to cheer for the US.
USA's last game of the group stage is the day before tfc plays, so the only way bradley is back for that game is if he picks up a red card vs portugal.
