Are you guys talking about the header, a couple of minutes after the DeRo pk goal? That ball didn't go in the net. It was wide.

It missed by a few inches. The Gol TV feed had a camera angle from behind the net, and it showed the ball sailing just wide of the post.

That's the one. I thought it was in too, and then left the room, and when I came back I was surprised to see it still 2-1!

Yeah, it was hard to tell with the low quality stream.
Plus the score was changed to 2-2 temporarily so I thought it had gone in.

And what's even more surprising that Canada's next opponent, Puerto Rico, only managed a 0-0 draw with St. Kitts and Nevis.

St Kitts is ranked higher than PR and SL in FIFA .. yet Blue Jays have had games with an attendance greater than St Kitts population. Yet St Kitts is ranked only 20 spots lower than Canada.

PS. Some of these teams seem to benefit in the rankings from the opposition they play. But St Kitts did edge PR in the Carrib. Cup 1-0. So they are really 'the team to beat' if I may use that expression with regard to, well, I wouldn't even call them minnows, perhaps plankton is more accurate.

St Kitts is on a roll.. i just noticed they won 2 medals at the world track and field championships! Not bad for a population of 50k or whatever it is.

Congratulations to Matt Stinson! I wonder if he'll earn some playing time or if he'll be like Di Chara and just get a looksy in training?

Both players need to be capped in these next two matches to make sure they are Canada property forever! I think Stinson is Canadian thru and thru, but Di Chara might not be, so he definitely needs a cap!

I think Di Chara is Canadian. He may have some Euro background but it's unlikely he's gonna be called up for Italy any time soon.

Stinson is out (injury). Attakora brought in as his replacement.

well that makes a lot of sense. A midfielder gets injured so you bring in a defender [/sarcasm]

Morgan was an unused sub in Canada's 0-0 draw, wouldn't be surprised if he got another cap the next game as it means nothing.
