For those staying: Queen Vic on H street this weekend - check DU facebook for details ~ http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=104956339550648&v=wall&ref=ts

To repeat info from facebook for those going to Toronto.

SE has graciously extended their member prices on ticket/hotel deal to DU members (http://screaming-eagles.com/roadtrips/next-road-trip-dc-united/ - half way down the page). You won't find better price than $150 for 2 nights in downtown Toronto and ticket to game.. actually... I think that's less than we stayed in shady motels by Buffalo last year. Act fast before it's gone.

There's also option for just ticket for those not staying or staying elsewhere, but again I would encourage you to act fast.

Think our van is full at the time but people with space, looking for ride, finding deals on flights etc feel free to post. Think there's also a bus going to TO and back for something like $10 :)

So airfare is out for us, too $$. Even flying to Buffalo.

Anyone seriously considering driving? Guess it wouldn't be much cheaper with gas prices the way they are...

Either that or ride the megabus overnight...hrm.

Kary & Ben are riding the megabus - I think they got RT tickets for something like $8. You should contact Kary if you're interested in that option. A few of us have rented a minivan, but as of right now, it's full.

    A few quick notes:

    1. There was no need to "convince Riz". :p
    2. Me and Natty are in. :D
    3. That is all.

It would appear that while I stepped out of the office, Riz got us megabus tix, hotel and match tix via the Eagles. SWEET!

    What other Ultras are in?

    Edit:
    Megabus info
If you're cheap and or poor like us, the R/T fare from DC to TO is $31 per person. This is for a red eye that leaves DC on Thursday night at 10, gets you to TO around 9AM on Friday, giving the whole day to explore the city and stretch those legs out. Bus back is Sunday 9AM.

    R/T means round trip.

You can find hotel package in the link BBBulldog provided in the link at the top of this thread.

    http://www.megabus.com for the bus fare.

Awesome... Is it awkward for a first timer to fly solo on a trip like this or should I try to get a buddy to tag along?

That really depends on you, I guess. I know there are a few other DC fans booked on the bus that Riz and I are on, so you wouldn't be alone there, and obviously, most are going to be at the same hotel. Never hurts to bring a buddy, but maybe you'll meet some new ones, too :)

My first away game was in Richmond and I didn't know anyone (I just went to first DC game week before maybe). I just assumed everyone would go cos it's so close and sat in my car and drove.

Aways are best time to meet people and pound for pound most fun too :)

I think everybody is still stuck in traffic on their way to that game.

It's sorta hard to believe you came back after that away game showing.

Also, if you book through the SE, they'll ask you if you're looking for a roommate so that they can pair you up with another single in a room (if you want to do that).
Just let us know if you go & we'll make sure that we (the other DU's going up) get in touch so that you can hang out with us if you want.

FYI the DCU and Toronto websites have this game as a 7PM kickoff, not 4PM as originally planned. Seems to be because it's going to be on FSC? I dunno, but I'm happy because it means I can watch Barça - Madrid as we get liquored up for the DC game :D

One of the TWO interesting games of the Liga, all season. The other one being Madrid - Barca...

You two should get in a fight when we're in Toronto, which would probably raise their crime rate by 37% for the year.
