Sounds like ol' Uncle Gym-shorts is the Revs' new colour commentator: http://www.mlssoccer.com/video/2014...volution-vs-vancouver-whitecaps-march-22-2014 Can't wait for him to call TFC games
Yeah, you're right. Paul Mariner did land another Revs gig. http://www.revolutionsoccer.net/schedule/tv-and-radio-information
Never mind that. I'm just wondering how many viewers will hit the Mute button when he's talking during matches?
Joao Plata is doing great this year. figures. [from mls.com] 3. Joao Plata continues to have an All-Star caliber season. I would have said "MVP caliber," but he's not at Dempsey's level right now. Nobody is. That said, Plata has been spectacular and the main difference between an attack that can get bogged down vs. one that puts up multiple goals. His second-minute strike against Vancouver on Saturday (watch it HERE) in what was ultimately a disappointing 2-2 draw for RSL was classic Plata – he scored almost the exact same goal vs. the Timbers last year.

Thanks.....that was 1 solidly dumb typo....you are a true gentleman for seeing that and not making an absolute fool of me!
Was having a little look-see at who was coaching the Dutch U19s. Looks like our old friend Aron Winter has found himself a new job. Personally, I think it's a great place for him.
Even Terry Dunfield has a new gig. He's now with Ross County of the Scottish Premier League. http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...-reportedly-signs-scottish-premier-league-sid
