Check out this list of Top 10 U.S. (Small- to Midsize) Soccer Cities: http://goal.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/...-s-small-to-midsize-soccer-cities/?ref=soccer Chapel Hill? I don't think so.
I am 100% Chapel Hill biased, but we aren't #6 in America. The mens team has a severe lack of support considering how good they are, but we do have a lot of players, which seems to matter most in this survey.
If you count the whole Triangle as a single city, it belongs on this list. Chapel Hill, independently of Raleigh, Durham, and their assorted suburbs, does not; it's pretty good, but there must be better choices.
Wouldn't go that far. We have plenty of youth players and growing up in Chapel Hill, I can't name too many people who didn't play in rainbow soccer. They also count NCAA soccer, which can't hurt.
Anyone going to the Pig Pickin Festival this Saturday at Wake Med before the game? I am thinking about it, but my schedule kinda sucks ass this weekend.
