Bimm, you are not making sense, Chandler has already played numerous friendlys. EJ wasn't part of this WCQ team yet he was called. Either Chandler negated what he previously said or JK doesn't want him anymore.
Chandler declined the May/June camp and the Mexico game while EJ hasn't declined a call up, so if JK is still interested he will want Chandler to earn it.
I think at this point anyone holding out hope is experiencing at least a small amount of delusion. Plus, if he doesn't want to represent us, why would we want him?
A few bad games and he's garbage now? Dolo had a really bad game against Hoffenheim so is he garbage? You sure are smart.
Which is why it's hardly surprising he wasn't called. Why call the guy when he kind of sucks and there are better players than him in the pool? I don't think we can even know this round if it was Chandler who declined a call up or if Klinsmann just didn't call him. Frankly right now on form alone I would call in Johnson, Castillo, Parkhurst and Cherundolo over him .
Well, per Ives, Chandler didn't get a call. No, this doesn't mean he won't be considered in the future. But it sure would be nice to have a guy with some pace who could play on the right side of midfield. Personally, I'd love to see him at RM, and let Lichaj/Parkhurst be Dolo's understudies, and Gatt/Chandler be Donovan's.
he is not very skillful, though he is fast. We may not be Germany but we are far beyond having someone like Chandler play midfield.
Brian Sciaretta @BrianSciaretta If reports are true, that Timothy Chandler will rejoin the #usmnt, you wonder if there is an agreement he must accept future WCQ callups So what happens if he decides he to tired for the Hex?
"We thought at first that he might have a concussion," FCN press liaison Luana Valentini told MLSsoccer.com following Monday's all-clear. "We expect him to be back in training tomorrow. He did not train today, but it was just to be safe." http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2013/01/21/us-international-chandler-gets-good-news-injury
