That's too bad. He ought to have that friendly with the Czechs in September circled on his calendar. He needs to be all-in for the next cycle from the jump to maximize his chances for 2018. (And to help him compete with DeAndre Yedlin.)
He needs to be thinking about his club career and where that's going instead of his NT team career. If he doesn't get fully fit during the summer break Nürnberg might have to be thinking about bringing in that versatile RB/CB Verbeek has on his wish list. (If we stay in the Bundesliga, provided).
Eh, I think he'll be fine...players get injured quite frequently and he's been great for N'berg this year...also don't forget how loyal he was to Nurnberg when he received a Stuttgart offer and he chose to stay with Nurnberg...it'd be pretty crappy for them to turn their back on him after that especially after the good season he had in addition to a good 2011/first half of 2012 and all this season.

Yay good news! I just hope he doesn't push it too much too early. Would hate for him to pull a Holden.
Holden pushed it too soon maybe once, unfortunately he became made of glass and sustained different injuries soon after he came back.
man, chandler would not win any beauty contests. i've always thought he'd make a good frankenstein for a stage production.

Definitely. To state the bleedin' obvious, if he doesn't have a club career at upper-BL2 level or higher, he's not going to have any MNT career at all.
The guy was just killing it this entire season besides the first 2-3 weeks, plus the 2011 season and 3/4's of last season where he faded a bit towards the latter quarter. He also stuck with Nurnberg when he got an offer from Stuttgart and is due back to training in probably a little over a week and a half...players get injured from time to time...I don't see Nurnberg letting go of him imo.
What? Of course not, that is not even a discussion and I apologise if I made it sound like that (the perils of English as a second language). What is a discussion though is whether would make sense to bring in a better back- up (something Verbeek wants) since Angha really doesn't cut it.
And wasnt he in team of the week like 3 weeks in a row right before his injury? It would be a very stupid move for Nurnberg to let him go just because of a month long injury, talk about knee jerk decisions.
If todays match early on is any indication, that is especially true, FCN are having all sorts of trouble covering the right back position today, and Freiburg are going after it.
ugh, FCN still have a gaping hole in the center of their defense that remains unfilled and it is just killing them today.
