Damn kindle -I mean to bold the part about Evans. I think most coaches give a rat's ass about what fans are guessing or even thinking
I didn't mean to say MLS is at a higher level than the Turkish League. I don't have an opinion on this. My point is that MB, regardless of the league he plays in, is playing at a higher level than JJ right now (and has been for a while).

Chandler gets a start today in Mainz vs. Nuremberg: http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...atch_1-fsv-mainz-05-30_1-fc-nuernberg-81.html
Subbed out at half. Apparently, lost mark on corner results in goal. Didn't see but reviews not positive. No indication if sub was injury related. Any 1st hand reviews?
From Kicker: Coach Roger Prinzen sends on Angha for Chandler. Perhaps after his injury he's simply not fit enough for 90 minutes. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...atch_1-fsv-mainz-05-30_1-fc-nuernberg-81.html
Today he played the first half. Now he has four games to go back to form. So he may be ready. I say 50/50, I wouldn't want calling a guy who cannot play 90. BTW, today he had a shot on goal in the first five minutes, as per reports: http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/footbal...nz-ease-past-struggling-nuremberg_151904.html
I had a lunch that he wasn't done. That is why I didn't count him out from the 30 list, but I didn't predict him to be starting this early either.
I'd be more impressed with his drive to rehab and come back in order to earn a look if it didn't contrast so sharply with every other time he had a nagging injury.
Schalke are interested in Chandler according to Kicker S04 Aktuell @s04_aktuell 55m Wie der "kicker" berichtet, soll Schalke 04 bei der Suche nach einem Rechtsverteidiger auf Timothy #Chandler aufmerksam geworden sein. #S04
That would be a big step up. Atsuko Uchida, a 26 year old Japanese international with 65 caps, is the starter at RB for Schalke, though he has been out since February with a hamstring injury. Still, unless Uchida transfers, I think Chandler should be wary or going to Schalke if he wants playing time.
Weird. You would think Shalke, a big four champions league squad, would be after someone with real talent and commitment to his national squad like Brad Evans...tic. Que Chandler haters to tell us how bad he is....
Chandler is obviously good, that's not the reason I dislike him. His weaseling out on the team time and time again, despite being a top 15 player in the US pool since his first US match in March 2011, is why I dislike him. Now that the glory games are here, I expect he will suddenly re-discover his commitment!
I just don't understand the double standard. Lando took a year off to bang Malasian girls. I understand the desire to bang Malaysian girls. I don't understand the desire to quit playing. I also don't understand the desire to be fat two months before the World Cup kicks off. Injured is one thing. Fat is another. Klinsmann responded by making Lando earn it earlier. He's going to do it again. Klinsmann "motivated" Chandler even harder/longer than he did Landon. Tim was on the outside of the camp, playing better than any right back in the pool for over a year. I expected Jurgen to call him in before the camp, but the injury dumped on that idea. Now is Chandlers chance. He wants to play for the U.S. He picked us over GERMANY. He's been in great form for his club for a while now and has been actively working with Jurgen to get back into the picture. I would say he's earned the right to compete for the Red, White, and Blue.
