Joey Barton doesn't deserve to celebrate QPR's survival. I'd be surprised if Sparky keeps him at the club.

Damn. Imagine if Inzaghi walked into that studio. Dude's head would explode.

I dunno, I view Spurs as a threat, overall, so I would like them to not be playing CL football, and for Modric, Bale, Bayo and others to know it. And I don't harbor the typical hatred of Spurs, I just want them to get knocked back a bit more....

Chelsea are the greater threat. Spurs will probably lose Modric and Ade, and possibly Bale this summer. The chances would have been small if they were in the group stage, instead of the knockout stage.

And the knockout stage is not easy anymore as we saw last year. Sporting, Udinese, Mochengladbach, Spartak/CSKA, and Malaga as potential opponents will be hard to get by.

if Chelsea get CL they will have the revenue to justify a splurge. Without it, they cant and are in a lot of trouble. Chelsea are a much greater threat than Spurs are.

it's not so obvious to me..
i think i am going to gamble on the game and will thus choose Bayern Munich...
but otherwise would want chelsea to win. it's irrelevant where they are as they will pay citeh type wages. would love for sperz to get decimated due to a europa place finish. they can't afford wages that top talent would ask.

if i'm a QPR player celebrating the team staying up, i would have been celebrating with my club teammates but i can dig your point. :)

Understandably, there is an anti-Nasri vibe around here but what about Clichy? I don't see too many posts about him. I'm just wondering does anybody dislike him as much as Nasri. I'm personally indifferent on him and he has been a loyal servant to the club for many years. He actually played a role in their victory.

It is all about how you leave. Nasri went out burning bridges and talking trash about everyone.

Yeah, and he is still jawing away after all this time.

City spends a lot more than Arsenal. Hence why they win stuff. Pretty simple.

If you're a team like Real, Barca, or City that outspends everyone else, how much can you really brag about winning? You are supposed to win.

The only one I'd be happy for is Kolo.

Barton will live out the rest of his life, in much the same way that Paul Gascoigne did.

The thing with Clichy is WTF has he done with his hair? Man had a respectable cut. I get it your top of the table full of confidence, but a bad cut is a bad cut, no matter how much confidence you have.

Clichy kept his mouth shut when he left. Nasri didn't. Simple as that.

Can't fault Clichy. He didn't lie to the people that had paid his wages since he signed for Arsenal. Nasri may have only being responding to the abuse he got from Arsenal fans, but had he left in a similar fashion to Clichy, that abuse would have been much much less. Still, as in real life, football is full of different people, some nice, some idiotic, if Nasri wants to be an idiot, good luck to him, I really couldnt care less about him

They should get battered in Munich - but this season has been so insane, I'm not ruling out a Chelsea victory.

Things I dont want to see:

John Terry parading round London with the Champions League trophy on his head

Chelsea being in the CL next season

Chelsea being the first team in London to win it

Things I do want to see:

    John Terry crying

Spurs fans getting all excited about winning the CL next season and then a) getting knocked out in the qualifier or b) getting knocked out in the group stages/QFs and watch their season go to pot because of the additional pressure.

Chelsea unable to steal players like Mata off us next season

Chelsea on the TV on thursdays

Exactly. I could see Drogba giving Munich's defense fits.
