Having lived in LA and been to many Galaxy games and now currently living in Portland I can say this, without a doubt in my mind:

ACB and LA Riot Squad don't have shit on the Timbers Army.

I can't wait to see the army on national tv starting next season. MLS continuing to improve.

Please go to www.timbersarmy.org if you want our actual site. It is undergoing a facelift and should be looking quite different for the new year.

Meaningless hardware. We have no rivalry with you, and don't want a Cascadia Cup +1. The only people that seem to want this are from SJ.

It's not about rivalry. If that's what you think it's about you're off base. We're not rivals with you and don't want to be. It's about honoring our common history in the old NASL and of soccer in America. It's about showing we all have a history and are willing to acknowledge it unlike teams like the say the Galaxy and Red Bulls.

As for being meaningless, Seattle didn't seem to think so the last two years (outside Sigi). And neither did the fans that created it.

I dunno, man. Most of us were pretty "Meh" about the Heritage Cup. It's just another piece of hardware. The idea behind it is a good one and I hope ECS continues to support it, but I don't think it was one that most Sounders fan got behind. Especially not to the level you EQ fans got behind it.
