What is the current status of the timbers bid to mls? I am sorry for being out of the loop, but I am considering a move to Portland in the coming years so I would like to know what is up. I would love to catch their first year!
It's all done, contstruction is started, there are some details being worked out about the stadium construction itself, but it's happening, the loans will be taken out march 11th, just 2011 will see Portland in MLS. If you're moving here before 2011, come to the matches, if you're adventurous stand with us in the North End.
Oh if I can get into your city by then I will surely be there to support the team. I would love to have a mls team to really get behind and it looks like MKE has got a while before a resurgence to get a team again will occur. I can try to shoot for 2011 and get on board right away.
