Buy one Union ticket, get a Red Bulls ticket free?

How the hell is free EDFC tickets a deal? It's a fucking prison sentence. Go to RBA when the Zolo's aren't playing? I'd rather watch Betty White in a bukkake video. I wouldn't go see the Red Bulls on purpose if it was "Free cure for Cancer" night. That would be a lie, as Henry and company would still take the field. Red Bull Arena is like Lisa Lampinelli's cunt. It's cavernous, empty, and stinks of all the unsatisfied souls who have been inside there before, and there isn't enough soap in the entire state of New Jersey to wash the stench of remorse and shame off.

Ok, so I DVR'ed the Roast of Charlie Sheen....

You don't have to take the ticket for a different game. You can get the second ticket for the SAME game.
I used this deal and got two tickets for the Union vs NYRB, in the section next to Sons of Ben, for $25 total.

First, the OP didn't say that. If you're able to BOGO for the Union game, then it works.
Second, I was having too much fun in Roast mode to actually fact-check, for chrissakes! ;)

Still doesn't answer my question why the SoB would issue refunds. If someone buys a ticket through SoB then they get a ticket. If they don't use it they lose it, just like any other sporting event.

That's obviously not going to happen. If this game sold out and tickets were in high demand going for high prices, would it be logical for the SoB to ask for more money? People who purchased the SoB package are still getting a good deal and will have fun. Instead of being bummed out that this promotion was announced, use it to try to convince some more Union supporters to go so the Blue and Gold can take up more sections.

besides, IF the SoBs save some cash (ie, if the RBNY FO gives the SoBs the BOGO deal), they'll simply have more money for this or future bus trips, tailgates, banners/Tifo, charity, off-season stuff, etc.

Do you think any 'savings' will magically disappear?

I HIGHLY doubt RBNY is going to extend any offer to a visiting supporters group. Sorry, just not happening. The deal is to get their own fans in the seats, and not be shown up by 1000 hoodlums filling their stands from Philly :D

Any chance one of the leaders on here can tell me what exactly the process is for people who cannot pick up the tickets at the tailgate, or approximately what time people will be able to pick up tickets at the tailgate? I've heard a couple things about tickets being left at will call but I want to make sure before I get tickets. Sent an email on Monday regarding this but haven't gotten a response yet.

I guess they want any asses in the stands. Bought my tickets today for $20 dollars, no service fee. When printed the face value was $25.....was disappointed I didn't get a free jersey with my purchase, I could have thought of something creative to do with it at the match I'm sure.

It's about time someone finally used the word bukkake on Big Soccer.
I couldn't figure out how to fit it into a coherant sentence. haha.:D
