Earlier than 2-3 weeks before the beginning of the championship, tickets we will not see. So say the UEFA website
The 4-6 weeks ticket delivery period announced by UEFA starts today. I'm in the USA and waiting for tickets to arrive. It's a real nail-bitter. I'm just hoping it will be professionally shipped via FedEx or UPS with signature confirmation. UEFA said they won't issue duplicate tickets, nor refund money if tickets are lost during the transit. If anyone receives the tickets, PLEASE POST!!!!! Cheers, Adam
for 2006 WC and 2008 UEFA - no signature was required. USPS just dropped package in the mailbox.( at least in Colorado and in California)
My 2006 WC tickets were delivered by DHL and a signature was required. I was living in a large city in New England.
Thanks for the thread...I just woke up in a panic thinking I might have thrown the tics away but it looks like I should expect a "big" envelope or something to sign for.
I got this (very quick) reply when asking which courier would be delivering tickets in the US. Dear Football Supporter, All tickets will be send by UPS courier. Best regards, Your UEFA EURO 2012™ Ticketing Team
Good info all. I'm glad it's UPS (an actual courier who will seek the signature as proof of delivery). If any of you gets the tickets (in US or anywhere else), please post. Thanks, Adam (from Chicago)
dont stress guys, many of you sound like me pre euro 2004 lol. UEFA are pro, theyll send them out. Even for some reason they didnt come you got your i.d and proof or purchase youd just let them know and they'd make another way for you to go to the game. If you guys are stressed now imagine how I felt going to the semi's of euro 2008 and the final getting my ticket on the day of the game. That was from a ticket broker in euroteam, but that's standard and they never let me down. I did hear of one guy tho who ordered 40 tickets to Italy vs France that tourny and he didnt get them, but I never had a problem with them and once again that was from a broker. I got euro 2004 tickets through UEFA and they delievered when they said they would. Don't stress, UEFA are pro. The tickets are paid for and confirmed, you have nothing to worry about even if they didnt arrive in time like I said.
youll get them, you all sound like me pre euro 2004. Even if u didnt come theyre paid for and confirmed, youd get into the stadium like a lost ticket etc. You guys are just anxious and stressing for nothing trust me I did the same thing. In euro 2008 i got them through a broker and had to pick them up the day of the game haha. But they never let me down.
Taken from a user on another forum but apparently tickets sent this week are from the participating teams portals. next week will see the delivery of the UEFA portal tickets.
You should all try this: Go to UPS website and find a tab that says "Track by reference" (not by tracking number) and where it says Reference Number input your UEFA customer number, the one we used to login to the portal. I haven't received an email yet but just did that and found out that my tickets are in transit and will arrive next week.
Fantastic, thanks! I can track mine as well, shipped today and they're scheduled to arrive on Monday.
Finally after some 7 months its all coming down to an end... Now we can all look back with joy and remember the amazing hours spent at the Portal
my UPS tracking number says that my tickets have arrived in the country...hopefully they'll be here today or tomorrow
Dear Mr Platini, please send me my tickets. I take back everything bad I have said about you (ok some of them) and in reality only want to visit EURO 2012 stadiums to be in your presence. They say God is everywhere but I think he would struggle to be in Gdansk and Donetsk on consecutive days oh Great One !!!
