So was this the Fed who didnt get their sh*t together in time and then the guatemalan olympic comittee said "Ok, you guys aren't going"? Because it sounds to me like the Fed is doing what ever it takes to get us to Mexico, and Guatemalan olympic comittee doesnt want us there.

If THAT'S the case then there's some shady a$$ sh*t going on in the olympic comitee

I think they both fckued it up by not coordinating their shit with enough anticipation, as usual. Whatever, it's disgusting, and a step back for Guatemalan football.

Correction ChaCha, the one that'll be taking Guate's place is Trinidad

I believe i know the answer why our Olympic comittee did not allow our U22 to participate. As i mentioned a while back, my cousin works for the olympic comittee of the Federation and he told me back then that the Federation had lowered their salaries, so the only thing i can think of is them getting back at the FEDEFUT since they did not get any salary cutbacks. Sad if that happened cause this is about our national sport, but how about the young players, we lost that generation. Who knows if Stempel will continue, i mean this broke all the process that was worked so hard.

What should be done now is get a good number of those U-22 players called up to play both games vs. Granada.

ChaCha, we think alike. Me n u in the same page. Ya se clasifico, now is time to start looking at the youngsters, dont call Ruiz, Pappa, Pezzarossi, Contreras. Just call all the youngsters, like Castillo, Ceballos, Lima, Kendel Herrarte and Enoc. By the way ChaCha, looks like Cremas are buying all the U20 players lol, which is good cause that way those kids will keep active and earn more experience and exposure.

Initial call up for the Grenada games

    Ricardo Jerez
    Wilson Lalin
    Carlos Gallardo
    Jonathan López
    Paulo Cesar Mota
    Wilfred Velásquez
    Cristian Álvarez
    Pedro Samayoa
    Mario Rodríguez
    Jhony Flores
    Cristian Noriega
    Lisandro Pérez
    Juan Valenzuela
    Néstor Jucup
    Carlos Villa
    Ángelo Padilla
    Atadeo Quiñones
    Carlos Castillo
    Edwin Gonzales
    Gustavo Cabrera
    Manuel Ovando
    Fredy García
    Selvin de León

A couple new names in there, including Carlos Villa, looks like the U-23 squad is almost complete HA!

I just wish he'd call up a few of the U-20's

Even though it sounds nice to bring up new players I really don't want that many. I would rather keep some of our core guys play in these two last match-ups with the new players, especially Pappa so they won't look lost on the field or doing individual efforts, and have a feel for each other and build more chemistry.

Even though we won the group already and the last two games are meaningless, we still gotta go win them both.

I would pick up Ceballos, Lima and Enoc. Just to get them some NT time and have their game get better. Ceballos was on a tear with Cremas since the U-20 let him get some face time.

i think eventually they will get the call up, Almeida likes those 3 players. Calling up the main players for these two games is not worth it, they could end up injured, is best to save them for the tough games. I think once we'll play the hard games, thats when Pappa, Pezza, and Ruiz n Campollo and Contreras will shine. They'll play harder.
