Oh we're losing logic now are we? Look, It is a well known fact that Lawro always predicts that we lose. Apart from those rare occasions when he predicts that we will win, in which case we invariably lose.

    Basically he's a bugger

Bolton have always been our jinx team; we haven't beaten them for at least the last 6 games, and once again we have those damned injuries.
Hitzlsperger and Behrami are both out again, and if Grant plays the same team as last week, forget it! Nobody played especially well, but the defence was really awful.
I'd like to see Gabbidon back to give some stability, and he is in the Wales squad for their next game.
I just hope the team plays with more determination this time.

Man U 3-0. Does this mean that we're on to a winner?

Its too late, I feel the darkness closing in.

Yeah that would be it. I didnt realise Mr Cash was a Hammer, but that pretty much sums up how one approaches anew season.

A draw with Chelski 1-1. What does this portend I wonder?

Doom and gloom, 2-0 to Stoke. So its the first win of the season then:D

Its his long term pronosis that has me worried:
"I'm going for a home win, which would obviously leave West Ham without a point this season, but there is no need to panic.
It's a relatively new team with a new manager and they will take time to gel. They've played Villa away, Manchester United away and Chelsea at home, so I think you need to take a step back and look at it realistically.
    Prediction: 2-0"

Is it too soon for a relegation thread?

    You are Fraser.
I may not be able to see the game as I will be on a train from Edinburgh to London. All golfed out.

As we all know, Pascal's probability theory clearly states that the more of a prat you are, the less likely your football predictions will be right. Lawro is the living evidence of that.

He may get one right every now and then but, if memory serves, he has already met his decadely quota of one.

He obviously knows more than us.
I will never doubt him again (unless he says we are going to lose).

Just find someone who knows the right time and write it on a piece of paper. You will never be wrong for the rest of your life.

    Oh bloody hell.

    2-1, to the Irons.

Of course, we were the only result Lawro got right last week so maybe, just maybe ...

Its cool. He's finally tuned into the currents flowing between the Lea canals and Barking Creek.
    It wont last.
And it will be 3-1 to the Hammers
We should be happy that Lawro has found a happy place:)
