That blows! Damn i hope he will get better after that and not rush on getting back to training/playing.
It happened in training today. Left knee ligament damage... and it throws concerns onto his participation in the Asian Cup as well... Kurihara and Nakazawa both out are hard to cover... i hope they'll be ok for the AC, but we won't see them in the tricolor again this season, i don't think...
May I ask what's his position ? Attacking midfilder, secondary/deep-lying striker, winger, side midfielder ?
We should survive FCT, but I see us struggling in Osaka esp since our defence is now missing two key starters. On a completely unrelated note... Anyone know where I can get my hands on a pair of these??? http://page17.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/v173428395#enlargeimg size wont fit
My thoughts on the game.. http://www.jsoccer.com/index.php?subaction=showfull&id=1289781448&archive=&start_from=&ucat=1&
Kurihara a slim chance for the Gamba game on the 27th! http://soccer.yahoo.co.jp/jleague/news/article.html?a=20101116-00000014-sph-socc Get through tonight and Nakazawa is hoping to play in a Christmas Day clash against Yamagata or Kawasaki...
Goddam it when are they going to quit calling him 17-sai-Ono??? After half a season it is FREAKING ANNOYING!!! We know how old is he, THANKS
I am not sure. I don't think they've completely stopped with Usami. Or maybe at 18 is only once every second time he touches the ball? Plus, I remember clearly Naoki Yamada being 19-sai-Yamada-Naoki. Ominous.
Not a bad season really.. they did better than I thought they would. Having Kurihara and Nakazawa go out at the same time killed it.
Oh sure. Give the #10 uni back to Shunsuke, so some 50,000 Marinos supporters need to buy the new one...
Good Yamase was woeful, I was happy to see Watanabe back in against Gamba and scoring for that matter. Though he did miss a sitter late on I would put that down to lack of match fitness. I'm very upset the way they have treated Matsuda, he was a loyal servant.
You'll be surprised at how some of the veterans are treated, but the problem is also with the system. Salaries in Japan usually grows with age, as in companies, and so those veterans are very expensive. Prices goes up even more if a player gets called by the NT or receives recognition such as Top-11 etc. Let me give you a few of examples: Kaji gets three times more than Yasuda at Gamba... Kawaguchi, surely one of the top-3 keeper in Japan this season (when he played) had to cut his salary 70% to stay at Jubilo. Miyamoto, on the bench for Vissel still has a contract for another year at about 600,000 Euro...
Shocking news for Yamase, I would be the Antlers, I would made an offer. But this is not over yet and some other guys will not be renewed : http://news.kanaloco.jp/localnews/article/1011290007/
Just skimmed over the Marinos "blogosphere" and there's all types of mixed feelings about these developments ranging from feeling of betrayal to those thanking these players for the memories. Could this be the club opening the doors for *gasp* a foreign signing
