    Yatta!
I am still skeptical after losing Komiyama, but it all sounds good!

    I'm in!

Glad to see the Marinos nailed it down for a 3-0 win.

It was totally bossing of the foe. The scary thing for other teams to notice is that there are a variety of players scoring goals, not just depending on one or two. The true test will be how they do on the road matches. Happy Days!

I think that it means that with Shunsuke you're competitive.
With the WC, it will be a long season, we'll see.
But I am quite sure you'll do much, much better than in the past two seasons.

Yeah that's my biggest concern being objective about the whole thing. When He's gone, where are the goals going to come from? This isn't just a scoring the goal concern, but the creativity and vision to get to that target. So far things look mighty fine. Marathon of a season though.

I think Yamase's return has had a big impact as well. 2 seasons ago he was injured a lot and last year the coach seemed to have personal issues with him.
With the return of Yamase as a regular starter AND Naka has raised the level considerably.
Add Watanabe up front, and then players like Kano, Hasegawa, and Sakata fighting for time on the pitch and Marinos' attack is looking pretty damn good.

The most beuatiful thing today was that autogol of sorts. Other than that, we know what they'll be working on in training this week: communication between the GK and defenders, not to mention clearing the damn ball:mad: Why Hyodo was taking the PK, well.................

Marinos 1-3 Kashima It's a marathon of a season, however fingers are hovering over the panic button:mad: Midfield defense or lack of gave Kashima too much space on the goals, and in the final third, piss-poor marking. *sighs* My Nissan car note payments at work.

Those were some class goals too though.
Nakazawa looks disinterested to me when he plays for Marinos. Before the World Cup he looked like crap... during the World Cup he's a world beater... now his body language is back to looking like he just doesn't care anymore.

It'd be interesting to see - if he plays for another season - how he goes if he moved to another club. Perhaps playing in a different shirt would give him more determination. It's not like it's his childhood club, so it could be boredom, or perhaps he's focusing too much on his captaincy and leading the team instead of his own game.

He reminds me of Italy's Giovinco. Let's hope he has more luck...

    And anyway...
    - Usami
    - Miyayoshi
    - Shigematsu
    - Ono

... Looks like a good bunch, we'll see, we'll see...
