You have to hand it to the Waltons for doing a terrific job in picking their parents. All the other Americans are (more or less) self-made.

Alice Walton lives near my ranch. Several years back, she hired a friend of mine to do a huge fence job. I came along one day just so I could see the spread. At about 8 am, she comes roaring up in her SUV, obviously ********ed up on some cocktail of drugs, and starts yelling for all the strange mexicans to get the ******** off her land. So we leave. That evening, her assistant calls my friend and apologizes and invites him to come back out the next day. This exact scene repeated itself twice more over the next month. Finally, my friend said ******** it, pulled off the job, and submitted his bill. She refused to pay it! He slapped a lien on her property and that's where it stands today.

They are on a separate list, because in the case of rulers like the Sultan and the Saudi royals, their wealth is also the national treasury, it is difficult to really say what is the ruler's and what is the country's.

That said, the Sultan is second on the rulers list (behind King Fahd) with $20 Billion.

Interestingly, Fidel Castro is on the "rulers" list worth $550 M. Maybe Cuba is the socialist paradise after all.
