So much this. I'm on record as saying the fee is absolutely ridiculous and I still maintain the Bale is worth closer to half of it, but I was getting really excited to see this dude play until this shitstorm took off.
He better be, he's getting his "dream move" and became the most expensive player in world football. Doesn't get any better than that. Not to mention moving to Real Madrid from a club like Tottenham will get him unprecedented levels of media attention and fan adulation.
