Last night I had an anxiety dream about losing this game. It's the first time I've ever had a dream like that about soccer. It was horrible -- set me on edge all day.

I'm gonna be a freaking wreck come Friday.

And if we do lose ... or even draw ... oy ...

I'm pretty sure that since you were the one that had this dream, we're going to cruise to a 3-0 win, right?

I took a nap, dreamed about the US losing to Costa Rica 3-0, woke up with a puddle behind my back.

I was anxious before the noxious article came out, just based on the Honduras game and all the injuries.

Still, as another poster said in N&A, as poor as we've been on the road during qualifying, we've looked pretty good at home: 3-1 over A&B, 1-0 over Jamaica (and it likely should have been 3-0 by half), and 3-1 over Guatemala (after going down early). 7-2 (+5) GD.

I know the Hex is improved competition, but we have been good at home.

Can't explain it but I think we're going to be involved in 2 tight, exciting, emotional and wild wins.

Might be the crazy in me talking but I'm not feeling any of the anxiety I felt the week of the Honduras game.

I believe this is what they call the denial stage.

The greatest anxiety for this match is Morrow at LB.
An MLS player with no qualifying caps to start vs CRC?
I would have preferred Parkhurst, Torres or even, Boca there instead.
I've never seen Morrow play in MLS or the Canada match (which cannot be taken as reference, given it was a friendly).
Granted it sounds like he can get into the final third and cross the ball as well as Dolo, but can he defend against CRC in a qualifier?
There are times when a coach has got to use players sitting the bench or not in mid-season form.
    Maybe they're injured?

Torres is injured. But Boca and Parkhurst aren't.

Another thing to be anxious about: Bradley, Dempsey, Edu and Zusi, are sitting on yellow cards.
The USMNT would be seriously hampered vs Mexico if one or two of them get yellows.

Well Morrow has gotten high marks in MLS going on 2 seasons now and even though he showed almost nothing against Canada he didn't do anything that caused great outrage. As you mentioned though, he has no qualifier caps so he may not even start.

I'm probably more nervous about his game than the players. It wouldn't suprise if they are sitting around the locker room reading all of the JK/team disunity threads and laughing their butts off how little the "fans" actually know. I fully expect them to come out Friday and make a bunch of people eat crow around here.

Uh oh. Providing the referee was a shape-shifting shaman, and the halftime talk was given by Jessica Alba, I had the exact same dream.

I'm afraid it's written, you guys.

I've had two dreams relating to the USMNT. First one was a month before the 2010 world cup, I dreamt that England beat the US 4-0. Then I dreamt a week before the USA vs. Mexico friendly in Mexico that the US scored 5 unanswered goals before conceding 6 in the last 20 minutes. Needless to say both of those games turned out alright and I have a feeling this one will too.

You guys' dreams make way too much sense. If I had a dream about the USMNT it would probably involve random girls from my past, aliens, some sort of food item as a trophy, and a scoring system that makes absolutely no sense at all.

If the game is in Denver, does that make it High Anxiety?

Yesterday my internet and cable went out and Brighthouse can't get me an appointment to fix it until Saturday. Which means I can't watch the game. So either I'm saved from the horror or I'm going to miss something great.

Anyone know of a pub in north Orlando that is playing the game? Friday night AND March Madness will make it difficult to find a place showing something unimportant like WCQ...

I dunno...I thought Colorado effectively did away with all anxiety within state lines when they passed the new law.

Just go to any Sports Bar or place like Buffalo wild wings and ask for them to put ESPN on a television.
