Looks to be a pretty sure thing that Rochester will advance. Their schedule looks pretty rough. Friday (home), Tuesday (home), Friday (away), Saturday (away), Tuesday (@ PPL).
I watched the first half. Rochester thoroughly dominated and was the far better team. They kept good possession. They look like a team that may give the Union some trouble.
Think I'll decide on the day, depending on work schedule. Free matching tickets would be nice but I doubt I can get many to come to this one, so I'll just show up and get a corner seat or whatever.
im a little bit concerned about getting the parking pass in time. if it isnt there by friday, im gonna have some probs. but, the team hasnt screwed me yet, so ill have some faith.
Does anyone have their tickets in their order history? Or is it still just the parking pass (if you got one)
Maybe they are waiting until they get the 1,000 order before they notify people about the free tickets.
they have to wait unil tomorrow, because STH have to opportunity to purchase their seats until then. once that expires, they dish out the free tix. "Union full season ticket holders are able to purchase their same seats for the match at a preferred season ticket holder price until Thursday, May 24 at 11:59 p.m. Those season tickets that are not purchased by season ticket holders by the end of Thursday, May 24 will be released to the general public for purchase. Details have been sent via email." just like the schalke game...the season ticket holders next to me didnt buy their seats, so i got theirs as the freebies.
I dont't care if I get the free ticket or not. But I'd rather know before I go purchasing an extra ticket.
So we'll get notified friday of our tickets (even if we already bought our own STH) and ... and we get emailed the tickets... Hopefully i get the parking pass in time.... *Glances at mailbox suspiciously*
I notice that we'll get the Cows if we get past Rochester. Also Reading is out but Harrisburg plays New England next week.... I love cup competitions so I hope we stay in this one and get another home game since I'm missing the Rochester match...
Even though the actual tickets aren't decided yet (because of the long guaranteed sale) they should notify the people who would get the complimentary tickets.... people need some notice to lobby people who would possibly want to go... especially for free.
I am torn. I have a summer night class 6-930 though there is no attendance policy. To skip class or not. At least I have til midnight to decide.
My feelings exactly. Who cares WHICH seats I'm getting for free, who cares if they have all 1000 STH with free tickets identified. If I'm number 250, then let me know that I'm getting some free tickets. You can tell me where they are later, but I at least need some time to find people to bring. It's not like folks are beating down my door for a chance to come along to see the Union play on a weeknight, against a team they've never heard of, in a tournament they don't know about.
lol, yeah im not too concerned about the email with the tix. little concerned (knowing the the mail system in philly) about getting the pass in time.
Not necessarily. There is a draw after each round. So while we could in fact play NYRB, we also could be facing another team. Regardless, I hope we get another Home Match if we beat Rochester.
So Seattle is (finally) drawn to play an away match in the Cup against Atlanta. But the two teams work out a "financial arrangement" and the site of the match is now magically switched to Seattle? WTF - The USSF allowing stuff like this is why people don't take this tournament seriously.
I saw this last night. But I guess this is a practice that has existed in the past (Portland)? Ridiculous either way.
My second reaction after further pondering what Seattle and Atlanta did is that I'm shocked next week's game hasn't been moved to Rochester
