I'm up in Glastonbury. I'll have to try to make it down for a game one weekend.

Crikey! Bathhurst, now that is one tough race. I've watched it a couple of times now, not many passing lanes so it gets a little gnarly out there.

We may see Mark out there now he's quit F1.

Excellent, you prolly feel better. I'm running about 14 1/2 right now. Which is about where I should be, down about a stone since last we met.

Yeah I went from 16 to 11. Walk about 5 miles a day and eat about 1200 calories a day -- then have a splurge once in awhile

people ask how did u do it? When I tell them exercise more and eat less they stop asking questions. No sugar and only the salt that you get out at restaurants. No sodas, diet or not. Limited meat. Mostly fish, chicken, and soy protein. Now they start backing away very slowly as if you were a dangerous lunatic. Lots of vegetables and some fruits that are in season. Now they turn and run.

Four things kill people before their time. Well except for accidents and murders. Three of them can be greatly reduced by diet and exercise -- stroke, heart disease, and diabetes. The fourth is cancer and while genetics and environmental causes are most important there diet can help reduce that risk as well.

I only wish I had paid attention when I was in my middle years instead of letting myself go. That should be a warning to youse all.

Aren't you sorry you asked? :D

I'm with you LB, which is why I farmed organically when I was actively farming and continue to garden that way. I'm pretty selective about what I eat these days with pizza, some ice cream and craft beer my biggest indulgences these days. I got a not from my doctor recently saying my LDL cholesterol was a bit high and that I should eat more fruits, veggies, and whole grains. Thanks for describing my diet doc.

Don't get me started on GMO crops, conventional agriculture, or sustainability. I will get on a largish soap box and stay there for a while. :)
