C'mon now...that's a great historical reference. Textiles are pretty important after all. Besides the Dutchy Metro-sexual farmer loves the durability and comfort of the linen and wool combo. Funnily enough, I'm a bit of an enigma. Former Marine, farmer, cowboy, hunter, lots of so called manly skills and yet...I love romantic comedies, cooking and hanging out with my pretty wife. I'm the total package really...

Tough day yesterday for sport fans.
Couple of hours footy down in Brumland.
Couple of hours America's Cup Sailing on SFO bay,
then another couple of hours qualifying for the Belgian F1 Grand Prix.....It was brutal..!

Now I have to watch the actual (recorded) F1 race as well as probably the last race of the challenger series for the America's Cup to see who races the holder. Looks like an easy day for the Kiwis.

The open house thissavvy will seem tame.

I should have protected my knees by taking up sports like 'grass growing,' 'paint drying' or "baseball"...

A few of us decided to take a celebratory shot outside the pub after the match yesterday. We're trying to make LFC Connecticut an official supporters group with Liffy's as the home pub. If any of you lot ever make it to New Haven, this is the spot. T

How come they spell the name of the pub differently from how you spell it?

 

I just don't pay attention sometimes.
