Yeah, we first learned about this years ago when some one posted the slide package the Portland Timbers put together when they were trying to get into the league back in 2008ish.

Think about the difference Seattle has to pay vs Chivas USA.

Interestingly he was not the only MLS owner at the event. Dela Hoya was there as well.

He's not the principal owner of the Dynamo ... so there is a difference.

Sure, but he is still an owner. Oscar and his partner own 50% and AEG own 50%. He is not a minuscule owner like say Drew or Nash.

They've got their own SSS and are well-run - plus he's a former boxer so naturally he'd be interested in MMA events.

He's not the same as Kraft and can do what he wants and still be perceived as more committed, as far as I'm concerned.

He was not there as a fan, per say. He was there to promote a Golden Boy promotions event on camera.

Something odd in the Eastern conference table currently. Teams 1-4 have all scored 36 goals, and teams 5-8 have all scored 29 goals.

Woke up this morning and Bob Kraft is still an investor owner operator of MLS/SUM..and that made the day that much more sour...

    ..move along!

After watching the revs, the Seattle-Portland game is definitely the varsity game to watch. Over 60k for a regular season game? Impressive!

Let's dare think of it.......the Revs make the cut for the playoffs, and do a 2002'ish playoff run to the final...now, playing Seattle, in their Green Submarine within a Sea of Green playing on a the Green, hearing the keening of the Tambourine, Man....with Dempsey and Joseph sporting Green....and Nicol Green with envy..... old man Reis, the Nguyen One & the Kidz, and mad, sad, bad has been Chad, shock 'em all....... wouldn't that be loverly? ;)

You have your PhD (assuming by your screen name) - isn't that process about the same as figuratively sleeping on a bed of nails for 3+ years? ;)

But if you make your research sufficiently entangled with dark thickets of wildly overgrown mathematics it can be a 9 year slog of restless insomnia while bound to a bed of bleedin' thorns....... which may, or may not, be worse than the nail option [I'd be damned, though, if I'd go for a second round just to have a basis of comparison ]......

The same reason most people would be pissed if their Sox hat came with a #16 3M Ford sticker

Why be pissed? Did they not get what they ordered? I order stuff all the time that comes with inserts I don't care about. I just toss them away and move on with my life.
