The Third Annual ReALE Homebrew Competition!!!
    MARCH 26, 2011 4-7 @ Rio Tinto Stadium

Come and try some of RSL supporters homebrews! You dont have to brew to enjoy this event. Sample them all then vote for your favorite. If you brew yourself, try your luck and enter your brew, you never know what you could win! We also will be selling custom beer mugs to help support Section 26. Keep your collection going! Brewers get one for free.

Some basic rules for the Brewers:
    • -Ales only (ReALE Salt Lake) Root beers and Ginger Ales are also allowed.
    • -Brew the ALE that you feel best represents RSL
    • -You can bottle or Keg, its your choice, but bring cups if you Keg
    • -Beers must be prepared to drink by 4 at the Supporters groups lot. Check in with the Section 26 table before then to get your number.
    • -You MUST submit your Name and the Name of your beer no later than MARCH 19th!!!
    • - If you wish to enter a beer, email your: Name, Beer Name, Beer Style to RSLSection26@gmail.com
    • -You are responsible for the distribution and display of your own beer. (Bring your own table)
    • -Be honest with your judging. We want the right brewer to win, please no stuffing the ballot box.
    • -Votes will be counted at the end, and possibly a final round for after the game
    • -If you need any brewing help contact The Beer Nut (http://www.beernut.com/Web_store/web_store.cgi)

We will be searching for a Guest Judge again this year similar to last year. So we will have a Fan Favorite and a Player Favorite, hopefully with trophies for both.
Upates will come when the details are finalized. Until then... CHEERS!!!

I will make sure of it this time, I also looked into getting few more of last years made, so your collection can be whole. I'm still sorry about that.

Hey, no worries. If anything it just shows how nice the pints really are. I'm game for one of last year's as well.

The annual homebrew competition means more than just awesome, great tasting local beer that you get to sample and vote on... It also means that a big gathering is taking place with RSL supporters and other club supporters alike, all in anticipation for the big game.

I can't believe it is mid February and I'm getting excited for the ReALE Homebrew competition! Cake before supper? Why not!

Hey Boz and KeepYourPantsOn, I have 2 or 3 extras from last year. Somehow people left theirs in my car and never came back to claim them. At this point I don't even remember who's they were. Boz, I'll bring them with me to the competition and you are welcome to have one.

Just wanted to get an idea if any of the BS posters are going to submitting any beers. Other than myself, anyone else here going to bring some homebrew?

I don't see where it has been noted, but the supporters tailgate lot has been moved to the lot NW of the stadium, near the liquor store.

Is this the same as the dirt lot that wasn't used very much last season? The lot to the North as you cross the bridge leaving the stadium?

Yes it is. It is the lot across the bridge from the "Spanish Staircase".

    Bring no...

    Send...maybe.
Depending on the outcome of my latest meager attempt.

What sort of quantities are required for judging?

So, just a thought... Anyone going to be able to bring any sort of portable DTV setup or have a notebook to stream the US v. Argentina match that will be from 5-7 during the home brew comp?
