I signed up for MLS Live so I could watch most of his games.(I was on the fence for getting it before he moved because I had Direct Kick through Time Warner in previous seasons and the quality wasn't good)

Which has precisely nothing to do with how Arsene has fared this transfer window, which is what your comment was in direct reference to. And you didn't say he was respected, which it goes without saying that he mostly is, you said he's a genius and that this transfer window shows that.

For the sake of perspective, where has Arsene taken Arsenal in the past decade? From invincible league champions, to CL finalists, to what heights? No trophies in 8 years, due to him pricing Arsenal out of the competitive transfer market.

Even Liverpool have managed to win something after the chaotic cluster******** of Hicks-Gillett, and that says it all. Genius indeed...

 

Clint has provided some tremendous memories to those of us in YA. Cherish them. Somehow I don't think we've seen the last of Dempsey on the big stage.

 

It's been a good ride Mr. Dempsey, a damn good one at that. Who knows, maybe he'll take us on one more journey, but for now it's time to let someone else take the YA spotlight. I'm looking at you Josmer.

very disappointed...it would have been good for him to be there through the WC in Brazil then come to MSL to ride out his career. I am a fan of MSL but it does not have the quality of the England. Can he keep his skill level up with the best players in the World....I hope so.

 

I was more asking from a biz perspective. As any Bravo exec will tell you, programming quality films does not always eyeballs get. Just wondered if there was a quantifiable uptick in home team TV and turnstyle numbers when a "big player" was signed. It's often hard to tease the influence of a single player, but sometimes it can be easily observed.

 

Or, with his payday, he could give me a payday loan!
