With Todays win Braga moves into a 3 way tie with Brugge and Birmingham. A home win vs Birmingham will be enough to progress to the next round.

I have to say, Braga looked underpar. They got the result, so that's the most important thing for now but they don't look half as solid as they used to. Hope I'm wrong so...

    ...congrats!

Braga always looks under par as the previous season or the previous half season because we sell most of our roster on a semi annual basis. the fact we are always in the top quarter of the table and consistently do well in Europe is a testament to our president and our clubs structure.

I hope we get revenge on Brugge and top the group.

    Wow, no activity in here.
    13th straight win for Braga.

1st place all to themselves after today's win. Predict that at the beginning of the year and you would have gotten

Full credit to Jardim and the Minhotos, they have stayed focused amid all the talk around Porto/Benfica duking it out.

Still have to play Benfica and Porto in the next 2 weeks and finish the season with an away game to Sporting. Great to be in first so late but these last 6 games will be no picnic. But that's what it takes to be Champions.

Yeah a bit of a tough schedule looking forward. But Braga is looking good. Very impressive that they are in 1st right now.

Full credit to Braga. I just hope they can somehow do well in Europe next year. They simply have the worst luck in Europe. :(

I don't know man, Porto and Benfica have been slipping up against "easy" opponents. Braga is just grinding them out. I think Braga have the advantage right now.

Didn't they go to the EL final last year? They've done well.

My club may be suffering directly from Braga's achievements, but damn, you just have to enjoy seeing this type of stuff from time to time. These guys have been kicking ass and taking names even after years of losing important pieces of their team. Amazing stuff that I, as much as I hate to admit, do like to see.

Definitely a foul. You can't run full power into someone, into the box, elbowing someones head. Clear foul. Stupid by Elderson. Non the less excellent game, Braga showed so much quality.

We locked up 3rd when Porto beat SCP.

The good news for us is we will be seeded in the 3rd round of qualifiers and should we progress also be seeded in the 4th round as well. A bad draw is what stands between us and the group stage although 2 years ago we had 2 tough draws and made it through.

Should we qualify for the group there is a good chance we would qualify for pot 2.
