Truth told, most of the SEC programs have had Black QBs a some point or another. Georgia's had a few, Auburn's had five or six easily, LSU's had a few, etc. But the head coaching jobs are off-limits at the programs anyone would want to coach at. UGA fired Damon Evans, the conference's only Black AD, after he got caught in Atlanta with a White female in his car (IIRC, the department used a DUI charge --received at the same time-- as their excuse). Compare that to Mike Garrett at USC, who had to step down only because the NCAA was harrassing the school. If Texas A&M is going to continue to be competitive against Alabama, they're going to face pressure from the conference to hire a coach who doesn't upset the sensibilities of the conference's fanbase. Nick Saban has lost to Croom and now to Sumlin. That's two strikes. On campus... on campus.... oh, you thought they'd actually be enrolled??? Naw, they'd just live somewhere in the bowels of the stadium, kinda like gladiators.
This is why politics and religion were supposed to be kept separate in America. The Democrats and establishment Republicans let this fester too long. Now the establishment Republicans are utterly discredited and the Democrats have lost the ability to ameliorate the situation.
Grover Norquist, founder and president of Americans For Tax Reform, has a new theory about why President Barack Obama won -- he portrayed Mitt Romney as a "poopy head."
I liked Evans, but let's be fair and state the full extent of what happened. Evans was arrested for DUI and had a 28-year-old woman who was not his wife in the car with him. The woman's panties were in Evans lap. In addition, he allegedly repeatedly told the officer that he should let this go because of who he was. Prior to the incident, he had his contract extended and had been given a significant raise in salary. So the idea that UGA was using this as an "excuse" to get rid of him is far-fetched.
Arizona woman runs down husband with car, angry because he didn't vote; blaming him for Obama re-election and imminent destruction of world While in jail for the next 20 years someone should tell her that 'merica's savior Mitten's won Arizona. Oh and don't worry about the bill, Obamacare will handle that.
[Megyn Kelly]See women, this is why we shouldn't have the right vote. It is so complicated and so crazy! We should leave the big things to Big Daddy![/Megyn Kelly]
In fairness to the SEC, a number of schools have had black QBs and head coaches. One SEC school even paid six figures (allegedly) for a black QB who won the Heisman Trophy. However, I will say that other SEC schools are going to be a little slower on this. (ROLL TIDE WHAT'S THAT COLORED BOY DOING UNDER CENTER?)
Plus, Hines Ward! Chris Leak! Jordan Reed! Oh. To be fair, Andrew Zow. Plus, David Palmer! Again, oh.
Is that the guy who was in the running to be the VP candidate? Whatever happened to him? Oh, and he thinks Romney lost because of those pesky urbans.
he had so much confidence his team was going to win that he also ran for re-election (and idiots voted him back in). Those voters are about as crazy as the ones who re-elected JJ Jr when he hasn't been seen in 6 months and claims to have a mental illness.
Well he's correct. The GOP pretty much had a lock on "Deliverance" country. :-D In the idiots' defense, Scotty Walker and the GOP state legislature gerrymandered the bejeezus out of his district in 2010.
I'm going to bet there is not too much interstate highway and major stops under those yellow lines. Too bad land doesn't vote.
By now, we all know of all the sore loosers signing a petition at whitehouse.gov to allow them to secede from the union. Well, here's a great petition on that site that looks like it may get the 25k signatures for a White House response: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/pe...aw-their-state-united-states-america/dmQl1bXL
Paul Ryan changes his mind on that mandate thing. Seriously, who in the GOP is letting Paul Ryan talk?
He knows he doesn't have to worry. Worrying about inconsistencies smacks of logic which smacks of the sort of thinking pointy-headed intellectuals do. The base of the party knows better than to be tricked by logic.

I loved this response: Maybe that tax will help the American people pay for your cancer treatments. Newsflash, your poor decisions affect everyone else. [/end rant]
