Rush Limbaugh: 4. Rush Limbaugh blames women. Limbaugh, the conservative radio host who seems unable to stop himself from spewing misogny at every opportunity, blamed the gender gap for Obama’s victory, and women for falling into Obama’s trap: “He treats them like vaginas and they say he’s my man,” Limbaugh said on his show.

You know, you just know Rush wanted to call those women cvnts.

Romney ran a campaign of conviction?

There was much conviction in the Romney camp that he should be elected.

As in Ann's great quote, "It's our turn." I see how she meant that, now.

I hope every Democratic operative who goes on TV for the next couple of years conducts him or herself like Van Jones did whenever a Republican counterpart starts acting like Matalin does in that video.

One of James Carville's brothers is a priest. In fact (no kidding) he married me and my wife. And now I live half a block from Joe Biden's childhood home.

That has nothing to do with the thread. I'm just trying to help people get the Matalin/Carville images out of their heads.

Now I just can't get the thought of James Carville and Mary Matlin doing the horizontal boogie out of my head.

I couldn't finish the video. The Republicans need to clean house of their operatives. They're old, cranky, and tirelessly negative. They are nails on chalkboard.

    Wow.

Kenyan? Socialist? Communist? Secret Muslim? Hates America? Not a real American? Only cause he's black? And Obama is divisive.

Yes, Obama went hard and negative after Romney. But ... wow.

And I've met Van Jones a few times, like him very much and he is actually a very good public speaker -- but he is fairly dreadful as a TV pundit.
Yet in that clip, Matlin makes him look like David Frost. Bravo.

Matalin reminds me of two other "not so traditionally pretty" women- Glenn Close and Around The Horn's Jackie MacMullan. But Close gets a bunch of starring roles and JackieMac has come a loooooong way appearancewise. They're both going to be okay, but I swear I don't see what Carville sees in Matalin. Her chin reminds me of that cartoon guy (not Lil' Abner- recent)- I wouldn't ******** her with Ann Coulter's dick.

Republicans "testing" for voter fraud wind up in custody for voter fraud:
In Nevada, 56-year-old Roxanne Rubin, a Republican, was arrested on Nov. 2 for allegedly trying to vote twice, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. The newspaper quoted a report by an investigator with the Nevada Secretary of State’s Office that said Rubin “was unhappy with the process; specifically in that her identification was not checked.”
Rubin allegedly voted at one polling location in Henderson, Nev. on Oct. 29 and then went to another voting location in Las Vegas to try to vote again. Poll workers told her records indicated she had already voted, but Rubin allegedly told them she hadn’t. A poll worker reportedly overheard Rubin tell another man that she had “signed my name differently, and they did not ask for ID.” She was arrested at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and charged with a category “D” felony.
On Tuesday in New Mexico, a Republican poll watcher was taken into police custody after also apparently trying to test the system.

Energy Company CEO Blames Layoffs on Obama

The CEO of Murray Energy, an Ohio-based coal company, said the reelection of President Obama "was no cause for celebration. It was a time for prayer - and layoffs," theWashington Post reports.

Robert Murray read a prayer to a group of company staff members on the day after the election, lamenting the direction of the country and asking: "Lord, please forgive me and anyone with me in Murray Energy Corp. for the decisions that we are now forced to make to preserve the very existence of any of the enterprises that you have helped us build."

He then announced layoffs of 156 people at two subsidiaries.

This is the same company that forced its employees to attend a Mitt Romney rally last summer and lose pay as a result.

Of course. And he's thrilled at the results. Fat man is celebrating in private with a fat cigar cause he knows four more years of Obama are the best thing that could happen to his radio show.

She was really off her game there. She was reciting talking points that I'm pretty sure she doesn't believe and she didn't have her heart in it. She really is over and should just slink away before she embarrasses herself any more.

I don't know if you ever watched The West Wing, but there was a fundamentalist Christian woman whom the Josh Lyman character insulted in the pilot episode. Matalin comes across looking and sounding almost exactly like her.

Which means you're right. I don't recall her coming across as a fictional character before.

I did watch the West Wing but I don't recall that specific incident. I'll have to look for it.

I decided that Carville and Matalin are both fictional characters because there is just no way that two people who make their livings espousing polar opposite points of view - in hostile and combative ways - simply cannot be married. And certainly not for as long as those two have.

That tells me that there's quite a bit of what we'll charitably call "acting" going on in one or both of their public personas. Like InTheNet and our new friend SchapesBot, it's very hard to believe that they are real people.

There are many inarticulate angry ranters out there, but few of them once sold records and therefore have a following. He's in the Trump category, every time he is quoted kittens die.
