Yeah, everyone should check it out--it's the only way that Rapids fans have seen the Cup in a while.

Did you guys catch cRapids GM Plush or whatever try to act like he cares about the RMC today?

Where does attention the Rocky Mountain Cup, Open Cup, Champions League figure in this?

“It’s not my personal style to have a big public fight with other clubs. We are, at the end of the day, in this all together trying to work to build our sport. That said, do I want that person to have an absolute burning desire internally to beat RSL, absolutely.

Full credit to RSL. I think even they would admit, the last four games we played with them we probably outplayed them for 360 minutes, and they’ve outplayed us for about eight or nine – all in injury time – and they’ve taken the Cup and the points. So you have to hold your hand up and say, “well played.”

But I want someone who wants as badly as I do, and I know our supporters do, to get that (Rocky Mountain Cup) back where it started, to find ways to get back into Champions League, so at this point we know we’re going to have be much more successful in the Open Cup than we have been in the recent past, and we’re going to have to make a much deeper run at trying to get the Supporters Shield.

“I think there isn’t anything stopping us from achieving those things. I think most of my piers around the League would tell you that when we’re playing on the front foot and at full strength, we can beat any team in the league. I think we have to get back to that mindset, that mentality, that level of confidence.”

We need to rename it to the Wasatch Mountains Cup since it seems to be exclusive property of RSL.

No then it would have the same initials as Waste Management Company. That's a better sponsor for a LA, Texas or NY cup.

Then we just drop the mountains (since it's redundant) and call it the Wasatch Cup and our official sponsor can be green Jello and Kool-Aid.

Some of you need to get out of Utah more often. Only within the Utah bubble can a food with crushed Corn Flakes on top be considered jizz in my pants good.

It's not fancy cuisine, but it's good. Added bonus of being good as leftovers, and I'm one that hates most food reheated.

Utah isnt exactly known as the food delicatessen capital of the world. In fact, I honestly cant think of a single food item that is associated with Utah (or even a sub-region within Utah) that makes my mouth water. Jell-o is literally it and Jell-o makes me think of fat nasty crap. When you think of the Louisiani, you think Cajun. When you think of Texas/Oklahoma/Kentucky you think BBQ. When you think of chicago you think hotdogs, pizza. Philly...philly cheesesteak. NY.....Italian, pizza. Arizona....Mexican. Idaho...potatoes. I could go on and on. Utah....uhhh, Jell-o. fantastic.

Come on now...You are forgetting the casserole...

    "What's for dinner tonight?"
"I don't know. Let's just take a bunch of random stuff from the fridge and bake it with cheese on top."

Not saying it's mouth watering, but it's pretty much the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Utah cuisine...

I interperted 15 to 32's jizz in my pants comment about the bacon.

When I here Utah food items I think of the Pastrami Burger. Rooted in Utah's Greek culture. Sure historians think the first may have been by Greeks in Kalifornia but no doubt meat as a condiment was perfected & part of Utah culture.

back on topic about the cup. Denver is a place where earlier settlers moved west, saw the mountains, and said f&$% it we're staying here. :p

I am indifferent about the unbalanced schedule except for when it comes to our "derby" with Colorapids... play a 2 home and 1 away series gives an obvious advantage for one of the teams with regards to the cup...

I wish RSL and CR's front offices could petition and request they play only home and away once each, FWIW...

(I realize this flies in the face of their desire to promote regional rivals; no promotion necessary for this rivalry)

Apparently MLS promises to "switch" schedules every year. So if RSL has one home, two away with the cRapids in 2012, then it will be the opposite in 2013. Unfortunately, MLS seems to have slightly less patience than my 6 year old son at Christmas, so I am sure they will probably change up everything by next MLS Cup (which will be held at Rio Tinto Stadium in Nov 2012, FYI).

Hell, the first time I traveled to Denver I had the similar thought, "The settlers saw those and decided to continue? I would have just said screw it, this looks like a good spot". :D
