Hey guys, me and my brother need to get from Gdansk to Lviv, Ukraine on June 11th. The flights are around 350 EU right now though, and a train takes over 20 hours supposedly. Do you have any idea if there will be fast train options in place for Euros between Polish cities, or better yet between Poland and Ukraine? Hope someone can help, thanks in advance!
Don't even think about train if you don't like too many adventures. And crossing the border of EU might be a little thrilling for first time travellers. Fast trains between cities? Yeah, they're planned in... 2040
wanna see matches in poland write to me and i will help you in accommodation and transfers dylek710@wp.pl
Hello. Here you go: http://www.oltexpress.com/en/rozklad_lotow/gdn and find the Gdansk-Rzeszow flight. Planes fly from Monday to Friday and the price is about 70 euros if you book it now. BTW, with OTL you can fly all over Poland. What in Rzeszów? Hm.. this is a hard question actually. I'd recommend you go by a train. I don't know why there's no prices here but if you want I can go to the train station in my city or call some info-line and ask about them. http://rozklad-pkp.pl/query.php/en?...seqnr=4&ident=3b.02077029.1336864077&OK#focus Or find some bus connections. Good luck and Have a nice time in Gdansk !
Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it. How would we get from Rzeszow to Lviv though?? Glad you brought up that option cause I didn't know about OTL express and I was able to find an extra option. I think this could work: Gdansk to Krakow at 7 a.m. arriving at 8 a.m. on OTL express for 299 PLN. Then Krakow to Lwow at 10:15 a.m. arriving at 12:30 p.m. from the eurolot website. What do you think??? Seems perfect to me, let me know if you think something could be wrong...
I didn't hear about Eurolot before, but they seem to be a solid company. They even have an info-line in Ukrainian language (+48 225 740 740) working from Monday to Friday at 7am-5pm and on Sunday at 9am-7pm, Polish time (GMT+1). Everything seems perfect for now, like you said, but if you will have any doubts, I'll try to help. And yes Gdańsk-Kraków-Lwów route is a way better idea, because Rzeszów-Lwów connection (rail, bus whatever) is a f*** joke.
Glad to hear your approval. Didn't like the 'perfect..for now' line though lol do you think something could change?? I messaged my bro hopefully we buy these tix in the next day or two. Let me know if you think we should wait or something..
Haha yea figured it was just figure of speech. We got it booked! Looked like we'd never find a reasonable deal, this one seems great! Relieved. Thanks again for the response, the OTL flight really saved us! Escape from Poland complete lol
I'm glad I could help And once again have a nice time in Poland! Remember that Tri-city is not only Gdansk (the biggest one) but also Gdynia & Sopot - very nice cities. Enjoy the beach, sun and... blondies
