How are those guys scrubs though? They have the experience and they give it their all everytime they play.

We need players like that in the squad, just maybe not Maletic and Rahimic since they're probably done with the national team now anyways.

I understand where you're coming from but I think a good blend of experienced players is a positive thing for this team as they grow with each campaign.

Could Cocalic have saved our 2012 campaign if he was given a chance? I'm giving up on Bosnian football if he isn't even given a chance for the 2014 campaign.

Maybe we need to change the shape of our formation as well?

    How about this:

    --------Begovic------------

    --Mujdza----Spahic----Cocalic-----Subasic--

    ------------Hadzic-----------------------------

    -----------Salihovic-------------------------

    --Pjanic---------Medo-----------------Lulic---

    ------------Dzeko------------------------------

    so

    4-1-1-2-1-1

I'm sick of the 2 DM BS too.. 1 DM with a CM that connects between the wingers and the AM is what we need. That means Hadzic as the lone DM and maybe Sejo as the CM that moves between the two lines?

I hope Papac sticks around for the WC campaign. We really do need him. Vitez, what makes you think he won't?

The man seems too frail and sick as it is. I can't tell for certain but I think he came back just to bow out one final time for the Bosnian fans but I think he wants to step aside and let a new generation try where he failed.

    I could be wrong.

Either way I think Subasic should start over him anyways.

Here's the formation i'd switch to.

    442

    Begovic
    Zahirovic - Spahic - Pandza - Subasic
    Mujdza - Pjanic - Misimovic - Lulic
    Ibisevic - Dzeko

Subs: Salihovic, Ibricic, Besic, Medunjanin, Stilic, Zec, Hasagic

Anel Hadzic is your perfect definition of a central box-to-box midfielder. If anyone should play CM, it's him. He does massive running in the middle.

Now that i think about it, that's too flat, maybe use that in certain games, but this one's better:

    4231

    Begovic
    Mujdza - Spahic - Pandza - Lulic
    Zahirovic - Salihovic
    Pjanic - Misimovic - Medunjanin
    Dzeko

Subs: Same as above except Salihovic for Ibisevic, and Medunjanin for Subasic.)

(I opted to put Lulic at LB, as he is much quicker than Salihovic, and safer too imo, and he makes those deadly runs up field like Mujdza. Medunjanin seems to show alot of attacking potential (likes to dribble as well) and he could be good up there assisting Dzeko.)

I'm neutral. He has a lot of negatives. If he stays, the chances of Cocalic and some others being called up goes down significantly.

Dude if Cocalic is indeed THAT GOOD, he'll be in the team.

If Hadzic could get contacted by Susic because of his performances, then why can't Cocalic if he's that good?

Cocalic IS that good but he always seems to get left out somehow. The guy was U21 captain and week in and week out plays well in the Greek league, getting into the team of the week on several occasions. Pandza is no better.

Maletic, Rahimic, and probably Mravac and Papac will all be gone now. If Cocalic doesn't get a call then, I believe it is because he isn't as good as you guys think he really is.

Because Susic's opinion is that objective? Come on now, he's made some horrible choices. Just because Susic doesn't think he's not good enough, doesn't mean he's not.

    Ciro, Susic, Sredojevic, Baljic, etc.

None of them have considered him good enough for a call up.

Not saying he isn't good enough because I don't know but I just doubt he can be as good as you guys say and not get any look at.

Susic hasn't made any horrible decisions when it comes to call ups, in my opinion.

Or because Susic doesn't know anything about him?

The thought of Susic staying for WC 2014 qualifiers makes me depressed. I'm not saying this because of today's 6-2 loss. Even if we had qualified today, I would have wanted him out.

There's a reason why he said he wouldn't stay for WC 2014. Now he's saying he doesn't know.

Susic needs to go.. I won't be depressed if he stays but honestly, its Barbarez or Amar Osim time.

Dude would you just shut up about that? The guy is not world class but fuck it man, he's better than half the defenders Susic calls up. He gets in the Greek league's team of the week every fourth game he plays.. and he is exceptional in both centerback and defensive midfield for Greek league standards. Also, he has a knack of showing up in big games... against teams like Panathinaikos, AEK Athens, PAOK, and Olympiakos. He's surely better than Jahic & Mravac no doubt about it.. plus he's young.. 23 years of age and will only get better. The reason he hasn't been called up yet is the same reason it took so long for players like Lulic & Rahimic to be called up. Simply because they are ignored by coaches and scouts that do not know any of our players.

Dzeko is great when he play vs physical teams but not vs technical, same with vedo. We need another striker or 2.

BTW Austrian-Bosnian Ervin Bevab chose to play for Bosnia but IDK how good he is.
