They said the same thing last year too.... Then when Corinthians opened up a can of whoop ass they suddenly didn't "care."
"They" don't include me !! We have the privilege of knowing how strong both sides are. Europeans only know their side and typically have no idea how strong the SA teams are. I never thought Chelsea would spank Corinthians. Although it still took 2 or 3 miracles by Cassio to keep Chelsea from scoring. I was pretty sure Santos was going to get spanked by Barca. And I am pretty sure Bayern won't have much trouble against Atletico (if that's the Final). I'd say Bayern wins by 2 at a minimum. If I am wrong you can quote me on this !
Tournament begins on the 11th of December. Last years winners were Corinthians, will the trophy remain in Brazil for another year ot not? The teams are as follows CF Monterrey Atlético Mineiro Auckland City Bayern Múnchen Gunagzhou Evergrande Raja Casablanca Al Ahly SC Star Players Robben Ribery Ronaldinho Gaucho Humberto Suazo Cesar Delgado Conca Elkeson Might be of intrest to some whom are unaware, former Juve and 2006 WC winning manager Marcello Lippi manages Gunagzhou Evergrande.
The big question is will Ronaldinho be healthy enough to play in the Club World Cup? Because I know he has a score to settle with Pep from the Barcelona days!!
I don't think cuca plays him vs bayern regardless. I'd rather have luan vs bayern and i'm a huge O Magico fan, I started the Ronaldhino bandwagon on bigsoccer.
So what does that mean? Someone like Muller will just take his place. Certainly not as skilled as Robben, but a good player. I just hope Cuca doesn't repeat a feat only Inter has done thus far....
The big story IMO is Fernandinho, who has been on fire for Galo and may not be eligible to play. I think Galo need him if they truly have any sort of shot of an upset. They also need the 'Libertadores' Jô and not the one we've been seeing lately. Tardelli can make a strong case for himself if he has a good tournament (in particular, a good game vs Bayern) for the Seleção.

Monterrey being taken into ET by Casablanca. Good news for Galo as whichever team win may be a little extra tired. 1 x 1
