Hmm... It's early but to me it looks like Chacarita is doomed, i think Tucumán will at least make it out of direct relegation zone. The other relegation spot and possibly the other promotion-relegation series spot would be between Gimnasia, Racing and Arsenal. Got to admit that part of that is a wishful thinking... Worth noting that if the season finished today, in the promotion-relegation series Central would play against Rafaela and Racing would play against Olimpo.
Updated the first post with this round's table ... AP09-F12 An important game for the descenso coming up this weekend for round 13, Godoy Cruz hosts Racing. Two teams with new coaches, that will play a promocion game this early on. Godoy Cruz coming from a soft defeat at Velez while Racing finally won! ... it was a 4-0 trashing of newly promoted Atletico Tucuman. Chacarita should had added 2 more points if it wasn't for the last minute equalizer from Argentinos and seem that they are finally getting the hand of the 1ra rythm. The "funebreros" visit Lanus this Saturday, where I expect Gamboa to line a back of 4 ... if not Lanus will destroy them on the sides. Atletico Tucuman also fired their coach this week, as their situation keeps getting worst as games pass by. They lost a "final" with Racing, which will haunt them at the end of the season. GELP earned a point after an unfortunate miscalled pk and then a "cross/goal" from San Lorenzo's Pintos. Refereeing has been hurting Gimnasia, who now face Independiente at the reds new stadium this Friday. .

Gimnasia LP has really cornered itself and will be an uphill task in the next semester as Atl Tucuman divides by one yr only. Godoy Cruz also has remarkably lost its pace and keeps losing. Central and Racing have a 5 pt cushion over GELP ... and should target to a decent 2nd semester to avoid all troubles. Chacarita is in deep trouble, as the ties don't really help them much. At least they are adding some points, and know that in the Clausura '10 they will receive at home Atletico Tucuman to close the gap they have. .

Gimnasia is in serious troubles, if in the first round of the Clausura Chacarita wins the classic and Gimnasia loses with Godoy Cruz then Gimnasia would be 20th on the average.
