Also, I wonder if Balotelli had his appendix removed. He's got a wicked scar on abdomen on the right side.

Part of the reason his name is Balotelli is because when he was an infant he had life threatening complications with his intestines which cost beau coup €€ and his parents couldn't afford it. They approached social services who recommended he be placed in foster care so he could get all the treatment he needed and not have it cost anything (he had a bunch of operations). Hence he went from being a Barwuah to a Balotelli.
