Yeah sure ... Chelsea won't even Qualify on the group stage this year ... :D
And by the way, as soon as the Russian thug gets arrested, dies or get tired of football Chelsea will go back to be the utter shit they always been ... ;)

But seriously, If we were to play Bayern now with the team we have and the possession football styled we have now adopted, we'd be more than a match. Look out.

In the final, we dominated but were utterly wasteful; you defended with your lives and won, congratulations, period.
As for your quote above, that's what they said about Real, Citeh etc. Right now, your team can't defend for nuts. Let us not get into a game of ifs and buts here, we shall see what happens whenever we meet again. Firstly both teams need to focus on the job in hand; Bayern, to top the group, and Chelsea - to make it out of theirs ;)

I was mocking the comment actually. The EPL is no joke, I know this is the german side of bigsoccer and is an incubator for misinformation and confirmation biases - but to say the EPL is a joke is just stupid.

I have to congratulate Chelsea for winning. I think any other day, we would have won - easily. We wasted so many chances, and I think it's our own incompetence, rather than chelsea's superiority - that allows you guys to win.

I congratulate drogba and cech though, fantastic players.

Fiorentina are on a roll at the moment. Montella is making good use of players like Borja Valero, Aquilani, David Pizzaro. They are the latest team after Napoli and Juventus to make good use of the 3-5-2/3-5-1-1. All this after getting around 15 new players this season!
Would be interesting to see how the return of Jovetic and potential injuries to key players will affect them.

Most exciting team to watch in Europe for me this year. Who heard of a possession based 3-5-2? Only in Italy!

Well, at least they play their EL game at home and have qualified already being 7 points ahead of the 3rd with 2 games to go.

They may have tried the formation because its popular in Italy again but the way they play now is distinctly in place only since Montella took over.

If all German teams make it to their knockout stages.. How much points will we get this year??

If this trend continues the next 3-4 years, can we move up a spot in coefficient rank??

That depends on how English and Spanish teams fare. At least we have a decent cushion between us and Italy, which is the most important thing since dropping to 4th will take away a CL spot.

We will need the epl and Spanish to drop..

But I can't see the Spanish dropping seeing how Madrid and Barca do at the CL plus the EL..

The English, seem to scrounge their way to a CL every year.. The EL, not so much ;)

I will be at this game and no FCB won't draw, they will win! I'm thinking 3 or 4-1 with the only Hannover goal being some fluke shot or JH starts DVB and Rafinha and it gets ugly on defense.

The only way forward to the BL is if bayern, schalke and BVB perform well over the next few seasons and the other clubs do well in the EL.
