Interesting fact that hasn't really much to do with football but with the relationship between Russians and Germans. Though we slaughtered each other in the bloodiest battle in the history of warfare (Stalingrad) and killed several millions of each others soldiers and civilians relentlessly there is in fact little hatred between our two countries on a personal level. One of my grandfathers was a pioneer in world war II and specialist for the destruction of bridges behind enemy lines and he always told me about an odd appreciation between the Russian and German soldiers. It was like a mutual respect for each others quality as soldiers. Sure they were merciless enemies but nothing compared to the French, Polish and English trauma regarding us Germans. Perhaps it's because our two nations were reigned by merciless dictators that there has been such a mutual understanding. Well just wanted to mention that because it's a topic that interested me quite some time ago.
He'd be a good fit at Liverpool but they've already got a similar project underway. I can't really see him going anywhere else besides those two teams unless he makes a money move.
Exactly my point, concerning liverpool. At ac milan they don't have an established youth system, and the serie A doesn't have the kind of football he would fancy i guess.
It is a walk in the park for Wolfsburg against Leverkusen. How did Bayern lose against this Leverkusen side ? It is unbelievable.
Terry is out... What happened was Suarez was dribbling fast through the middle to the Chelsea box. Ramirez pushed Suarez from behind and he came crashing into terry knee... It sounded real bad...
Did u watch the first half ? John Terry got badly injured and he had to be carried off on a stretcher and it took at least 5 minutes.
Barcelona continue their dominance. They looked so badly exposed on a couple of occasions but still managed to bounce back. Morata scores for real fail to help them keep up with barcelona.
Such a good game, but one can't help but feel just how hapless liverpool is. Suarez is such a magnificent talent though.
ac milan is a joke, they have some potential because theyve been forced to make use of their youth academy (and the two players on that team are probably the best on the squad) but you got someone like boateng who is not dependable and the same goes for robinho. Inter lost today, but im still massively impressed by their coach.
I hate to admit this, but I watched and thought to myself....wow, I hope he's out for a long time....
