there goes the game away, Bayern two many turnovers all of a sudden, missed free throws and Maccabi hitting 3pointer with 80% precision
never count out Bayern, 7:0 run cutting deficit to -4 but now a ref shite call, calling a for me legit block as foul
92:93 behind, 7 seconds left but the refs might have stolen it, Bayern managed a block and they call no foul on the Bayern fast break and I'm not sure that is the right call, replay was not given
Looking at the final stats, Maccabi hitting only 60% of their FTs, but 72% (I forgot to count their last shot earlier) of their 3p. What kind of lucky day is that?
Hmm, don't follow Bayern's basketball team. This is really his first time attending a game? That's shocking considering his position within the club.
And so does Kentucky. Going to be an epic final. Both of these teams have come so far and overcome so much. Both of these teams look like "teams of destiny", as Kentucky takes apart Michigan, Louisville, and Wichita State by fine, clutch margins while Conneticut just lays waste to Michigan State and Florida.
well, technically he has no say in it (the basketball division) anyway, because the is the CEO of the Bayern München AG which is to 75% owned by the FC Bayern München e.v., the whole club in which all other departments (basketball etc) are part off. Him showing up is probably meant to silence the voices who said the basketball division might get shut/trimmed down with the Hoeness exit due to his prison sentence
BTW the FCB Basketball vs. Maccabi game is currently being aired (replay) on NBA TV in the United States. Pretty cool. First time I've seen them on TV here. Almost over though
I read the Houston Rockets are interested in Bayern's best player Delaney. Hope they won't snatch him away prior or during the play-offs.
As a Houstonian and Rockets fan I can tell you a few things. Patrick Beverley, our starting PG, partially tore his meniscus. This leaves us with Jeremy Lin and rookie Isaiah Canaan for the playoffs since Aaron Brooks was traded to the Nuggets on deadline day. Luckily for Bayern basketball, Beverley is recovering quicker than expected and it is unlikely that the Rockets will need to sign an additional PG since he won't need surgery.
