After listening to Chelsea Dagger it reminded me of "I'm Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves, whose lyrics could easily be changed to a soccer theme. Also, if per-chance the Rowan deal gets resusitated I would think John Gorka's "I'm From New Jersey" would make a great anthem. And even if it doesn't maybe all the Jerseyites at the games in Chester or Philly could sing it to announce their presence.
i've whittled down the soundtrack (in no particular order, other than alphabetical by artist) to something manageable on 2 CDs, which i'll burn for the tailgate on saturday. might put Tainted Love (Soft Cell) and Anthem Part 2 (Blink 182) if they'll fit.
barroom hero or memories remain are better songs i think...but finnegan's wake is a good tune too...and if you're irish (im half) you'll probably love the version of fields of athenry that they do here is the video for barroom hero for all those that havent seen... please someone tell me how to embed a video...it doesnt seem to work for me anymore

Is it too late? Has this thing been burned? I NEED a rendition of "Whiskey in the Jar" on here. Preferably by the Dubliners, or Kerry Boys. Steer clear of the Barleyjuice version. Too slow.
ok but just dont surprise me with Al Barr...Michael McColgan was a much better lead singer -EDIT- oo oo and throw in Manthem by the Bouncing Souls if you can...that song gets me jacked up
i'm gonna add a couple local artists on there too ... love seed mama jump and g love. 2 discs, 17 tracks each (if they fit), almost 2 1/2 hours of aural enjoyment.
if that's the one you were dancing to at the game, then ok. by the way, i did have a couple CDs with me on saturday, but nothing to play them on.
