Hahaha, same here. Scoring 3 goals on Italy? Yeah right it'd take an epic choke by Italy for that to happen.

Holland not making it out of groups is huge disappointment.

Especially because all their best players are at their theoretical peak(Age-wise). Sneijder, Robben, De Jong, Van Persie, Van der Vaart, Huntelaar are all 28-29.

The players I mentioned will all be past 30 by time the next WC rolls around, this was really there best shot at silverware and they blew it.



Portugal, Germany, France, and Italy will make it to semis.

I'm thinking German v. Portugal final. Germany have very good squad but they still depend on inexperienced players in too many crucial positions. Even then they're still favorites to win in my book.

The only reason I place Portugal in the finals is because I think C.Ronaldo is good enough to carry the entire deadweight of team he's stuck with. Don't think that either France or Spain will be on point for the semi-match vs. Portugal, so that helps.

Great players know how to draw the fouls too.......plus some of those do look like fouls

cristiano is talented enough to carry portugal but has yet to do it on the big stage. he scores for portugal, but does it mostly at the expense of weaker teams during qualifiers.

his underwhelming performances for the national team have drawn a lot of criticism and everyone is still waiting for him to step it up wiht portugal .

even if their attackers would of performed, i doubt they would of won it all. their defenders are just bad, they had to slot in an 18 year old left back in the starting line-up because of injuries.

No, look at the picture and see where the arbitro is. He should scoot just inches to his right side, so his view will be exactly at the important side of the line.
