They are not "about to be promoted". They have made the playoffs for the 3rd promotion spot. Will have to win twice to get that spot.

Maybe not but I have my doubts they will find a player like that. At least not during the WC break and/or who would want to come to or is familiar with San Jose. At least Simon knows the team and has had some success here. I can not envision him being happy with sitting on a bench in tier two football. I know I would not be and I'm sure he will be on the move very soon. Then again, he could always go to Chicago......
I think he would be better overall for the team and he will definitely score and create more goals. Something that if anyone understands the game, especially with the Quakes so far this year, is badly needed! I didn't see Koval touch the ball last night nor am I all that impressed with him. Maybe he will get there some day but he isn't there now and that is a fact!
Pele use to say, the best defense is offense and they don't need him on defense they need offense now! No way is Koval a better overall player than Simon Dawkins is/was when he was here.

That is what I meant and again , the best defense if OFFENSE and Dawkins if he were here, would bench Koval big time! Especially if he found his 2012 form.

You lack reading skills therefor its impossible to talk to you. I'll try one last time. I never said Koval was better than Dawkins. Dawkins is light years better than Koval OFFENSIVELY. You said Dawkins is better offensively AND defensively. I disagreed with the DEFENSIVELY part. If you still don't get it then go get help.
You still don't get what I am saying. I am telling you I don't care about defense! I am pointing out that Dawkins would be better for the Quakes overall defensively or offensively because of his OFFENSIVE skills and because the best defense is OFFENSE! He will score more goals, create more chances and his offense will help the defense and will most of all, give his team the best chance to win and that is a fact!
