I needed to mention this story. I lived in Bay Area in the late 1980's and early 1990's. I became a Niners fan. But I did not know at the time that Jerry Rice literally lived 10 minutes walking distance from my dorm room. He would run past the dorm every morning and did his private practice in the football field facing my dorm window. I did not learn about this until I left the Bay Area.... so I never met him. Last week, I met an American visiting Hong Kong. And I told him the story. "My college buddy also went to your school(he transferred to a college in the East Coast). He was a college football player(Division III only). He told me that he used to work out with Jerry Rice every single morning at his old college. He threw the ball at Jerry Rice. No one in my college believed him. You just confirmed his story. I am going to call him when i got back to the States," he told me.
