the other one closed so i thought i would make a new one. He is my favorite player and love watching him play for the Arsenal. Hopefully he has a great 2011-2012 campaign and stays healthy. I believe he can bag 30 this year if he avoids injury. Enjoy:

The man was prolific last season. I just wonder if the way for us to make a step forward is to actually position him further away from goal.

It was so pleasant having him for the whole campaign.

Hopefully his injury demons are all behind him.

I never really realized how proficient Van Persie was with his head until I watched that video. What I love about Van Persie though is his finesse/power/control over the ball.

As much as people will be negative about him because of all the other times it's happened to Arsenal I don't think RVP will be going anywhere to be honest. I don't think he is motivated by money like others and quick fame. However, if we don't make Champions League that always leaves the question out there. Can't fault him for leaving then. The guy deserves at least to play in the CL.

There is no way in hell we will qualify for the champions league this season. Europa League would be an over achievement with this team. Van Persie will not be an Arsenal player beyond this season. I've seen nothing that makes me think otherwise. Gone are the days when we had great players in our team. Keep an eye out for Vermaelen, and Song after Robin. After them two it will Jack. The only way to stop this mass exodus is to throw mountains of money at players. Players don't mind about winning trophies if they are getting Manchester City type wages. We need Usmanov. He is the only one who is anywhere near the chance of buying the club that has the money to do what we need to do. There is no light at the end of the tunnel at the moment. I hate feeling like this.

This is exactly the same mistake Arsenal made with Nasri. When the player does not renew their contract, the club needs to be realistic and find a replacement ASAP. If he stays and signs a new deal, then they will now have 2 great players, which is far better than not preparing and ending up with none, like we did with Nasri.

Money is always an important issue for any human being. Lets not kid ourselves, even Rooney one of the die hards of United was sniffing around City had United not offered him a large wage increase. And this is coming from an individual that won everything there unlike RVP.

So with the way things are going, we will not offer him a great contract. And not only that with the way we are getting rid of our best players, we will not be winning a trophy anytime soon. Do you blame him if he wanted to leave at the end of the season? ofcourse not, only us fans expect him to stay. The reality is, he's an employee of Arsenal FC and will look what's best for his future and his family.

28 goals in the last 34 games makes him the best forward in England and among the elite on the world stage, if he gets through the entire season without getting injured we'll finish 4th at least.

This guy really is the best striker in the world when healthy.

And he's within a shout of the best player in the world.
