I think it's just a matter of time. Once he gets a goal or two he'll be OK. He's probably pressing in the 1st team games - really trying to make a mark in his limited time, knowing that his chances may be few and far between.
The role of spoiler? Huh? Faria was HORRIBLE in his time in SJ. I wanted to bash him over the head with a lead pipe every time he was subbed onto the pitch, he couldn't score in a brothel- minus the one miracle breakaway he netted for us.
Seems to me, Wondo had the same rep at first, led the Reserve league in goals, didn't score for the first team...
and that is why i am cautiously optimistic about Fucito. Frank traded for him for a reason, and if there was anything Frank can be praised for, it is digging up forwards in trades. No one can debate the track record of that. If he turns half as good as the other batch of Wondo, Lenny, Gordon, we will all be pleased. Maybe Fucito just needs a season to get started.
I heard it was one of those Eat, Pray, Love adventures, and we're just now heading into part III. Bring it on, Mikey!
I so hope you're right and he doesn't wind up being our next Scott Sealy. (Yes, yes, I know the chant - there's only one Scott Sealy!)

I guess. Pretty sure in the article I read they used the quote "spurned multiple chances" when describing Fucito's game. Par for the course, but at least he's playing regularly...
With Jahn on a red cad and Gordon on his last leg, like him or not I think its time to recall Fucito.
