Re: The official" Mexico vs Brazil ,Copa America thread Me gustaria mirar esta alinacion: -----------------Ochoa---------------------- -Gringo-----Marque-----Magallon--------Pinto- -Arce--------Torrado---Correa------Guardado- -------------Castillo-----Cacho---------------
Re: The official" Mexico vs Brazil ,Copa America thread Random thoughts- I'm not going to Copa America. Do you think my boss will be just as pleased as Pardo/Osorio/Salcido's? Whether the Euros need the rest or not, I'd rather have players there both mentally and physically. The last thing we need is to have a distracted Osorio misplay the ball because he is thinking about Stuttgart's preseason. Plus, it gives us a chance to see if other guys are up to the task. And no confed means they get the summer of 2009 off!! Is it time to try Rafa as DM again? The toughest kind of game is playing "unknown" Brazilians, equally talented with double the motivation. Can the Pachuca players perform outside of Meza's system? I wish Bravo would score too, but don't discount his off the ball movements. Why is it that Magallon had to improvise at left-center when Rafa plays? I thought Rafa was "plurifuncional". Which Castro starts on the right? Is there anyone else we trust for that position on the squad? The fact that Hugo defended calling Nery to the team when it was easy not to, and then benched him when everyone thought he would start, tells me Hugo is willing to bench anyone. Leaving Kikin off the roster surprised me as well (in a good way). Will Arce get a bigger shot this time around?
Re: The official" Mexico vs Brazil ,Copa America thread I'm not very optimistic, only because I really think their morale will be pretty low after the loss and 3 of their supposed leaders need to nap. They may or not be very tired but if they were they should've sat out Copa de Oro. This is a very prestigious competition, one that we need to take in order to take that next step. I see the game being very tight but if we go down early it may not be pretty. If we tie I'll be happy.
Re: The official" Mexico vs Brazil ,Copa America thread Guardado is out so I adjust accordingly Ochoa G. Castro - Rafa - Magallon - Pinto Arce - Correa - Torrado - Nery Bofo - Cacho
Re: The official" Mexico vs Brazil ,Copa America thread When I look at the lineup that we most likely will take against Brazil, I say to myself "a chingao". Va estar cabron sacar un resultado. The good news is that if the new guys can perform against the verde amarela they can perform against anyone. Its kind of like how I learned how to swim. None of this practicing crap or having someone teach me in the shallow part of the pool. My dad just threw me in the deep part and said, "Nada cabron" Hopefully the Pachuca guys don't drown.
Re: The official" Mexico vs Brazil ,Copa America thread that's like telling a chick she isn't fat... and telling her she just isn't that skinny....
Re: The official" Mexico vs Brazil ,Copa America thread Both of them do, and they're all we've got for that position.
Despite the defeat to Batres y Once Mas, the Brazil match has me hyped. Brazil has been good to us : Gold Cup (95/03) Confederations Cup (99) and FIFA U-17 Youth World Cup (05) to lift those trophy's is priceless. I am expecting an epic start to the Copa America with a victory over Brazil, for if anything can make us forget about our incompetence against the dull yanks, and makes us dream, it is the sacred Esquadrao de Ouro! Aguante Mexico.. .
Re: The official" Mexico vs Brazil ,Copa America thread More like, she's not attractive, but has a great personality...
I believe hugo will use something like this: -------------------Ochoa------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ---Gringo------Marquez----Magallon------Pineda--- -------------------------------------------------- ---Arce--------Correa-----Torrado-------Lozano--- -------------------------------------------------- ----------------Cacho-----Nery-------------------
i think this is smart, although i might use pinto in the back instead of pineda. im a chivas fan but the fact is pachuca won the title and their players are in their "mejor momento". it only makes sense that he utilize these players. i would also like to see nery/bravo again simply to see the speed both can give the attack. i think bravo needs to play with nery to grab a bit more confidence from watching how nery plays. nery can show him how to finish lol jk
Nice but its been said that Bravo will be titular against Brazil, So if thats the case, I think it would be best to keep Lozano on the bench and have Nery take his spot and cacho/bravo up front.
what i can see hugo using: ------------------memo------------------- gringo-----marquez----magallon------pineda -----------torrado-----lozano-------------- ----arce------------------------morales---- -----------bravo--------nery--------------- what i want to see: ------------------memo-------------------- gringo------marquez----magallon------pinto ------------torrado-----correa------------- ----arce----------blanco--------castillo---- ------------------cacho-------------------
i like this line-up... anyways, hopefully im wrong but i don't think cacho will deliver the goods for the mnt. i saw on ntd that borgetti was practically out of copa ameria... why didn't hugo get a replacement for him? btw, any idea of what lineup brazil might use?
Looks like Borgetti will get cut due to his injury and Landin will take his place. Thats what i heard on Televisa Deportes.
I know many of you think Landin is not that good but I been wanting to see him on el Tri. He could be one of those players that rises to the ocation and shows up when it matters, or he could just be bust.
At least try him out. It beats trotting out Bravo, who we know isn't going to do squat. Landin at worst is a bigger version of Bravo. Hopefully he has an upside, he is still young it will help him get some experience.
This should be the opportunity that Landin has been waiting for. It should serve as motivation. He's still young enough to where he can be groomed to be a solid 9.
Ok guys lets look at what Borgetti offered us so far. 1. Probably the only reliable air game we had.......... Yea and thats pretty much it. I couldn't think of anything else he would, he wouldn't hussle that much or even run back on the defense. If anything Landin has the speed and height we need for those late game hussles. Like someone already said, a big version of Bravo. But maybe MAYBE El Macho can give him a few pointers and show him how to the chilena so we can see something good outta Landin. On paper he has the makings of a good striker but he is a hot head which leads him to not play well in games.
