I was not happy with the way Mexico played the last two matches (even though we won both), but today I am plenty satisfied with what I am seeing. The team is attacking and defending together. The team is building up plays together. There is no 10, which is something I hated about El Otro (because we had two sitting back at home), but the more time goes on, the more I notice a similar style and attitude to UNAM of 2002-2004. Israel Lopez messed up which led to Ecuador's goal, but let's be honest: Capitan Huevos has been getting worked by Tenorio all 45 minutes long. That overconfidence on the apparent globito could've led to a goal had someone in Ochoa's box. El Enano Lopez is actually doing okay in the "Leandro" position. I live stateside, and I watch the shit-feeds, so my apologies if I'm a little pissed at times. But these motherf-ers on Telemundo need to die a quick death. Mr. Futbol de Primera Jr. Alejandro Blanco does nothing but repeat recycled radio bullshit. Myths. Lies. Misconceptions. Bullshit. Ochoa is doing fucking fine, okay, dick? Sure, he didn't come out on the corner but it's not like it cost him anything. Our centrales are not guarding Tenorio, who was due on the goal since he proved time and again in the 1st 45 that he was outhustling our D. I do not blame Memo for the goal. Marquez and Osorio did a lousy job escaloneando on Edison's throughball, and Marquez did an equally terrible job tracking back. It boggles the mind that an idiot like Cantor can be the official voice of Mexico in the U.S. What, we don't have one good Mexican commentator in a country full of millions of us? BULLSHIT. This dude is lousy, full of misplaced hype and I always get the sense he hates Mexico. Yet he's the official voice of Mexico (when not at Azteca). BULLSHIT. I was not too thrilled about Borgetti/Palencia (and I think Palencia has played pretty awful despite the goal) but I'm glad to understand what Hugo is attempting here. Hopefully we see Bofo, Bravo and Venado come in and play a complete 2nd half. 10 and all. I don't really want to see Lopez or Galindo there, but, then again, Palencia and Borgetti are out there (whom I hate more). Fucking Hugo. Always fucking with me. Evaluation is key. Guardado hasn't impressed me much either. So much for world beater. Play up to the hype, dude. Show something.
After the team started off with the quick goal, I had a feeling the team would fall asleep at the wheel. The team will come out recharged in the second half and the subs that are made will allow us to exploit their weak defense. Cuz as bad as we're playing, they're giving us some chances in the back. We'll put another two in. The defense better pick it up or they're going to get two also.
I don't think he's washed up...yet. He's just in a really bad funk. I think they should consider moving him at DM in the future. I think he'll reddem himself by the end of the game. His passes to Guardado have been spot on and they've created good chances.
lots of players go through bad spells. it's normal, can't play at 100% all the time. only a matter of time before he comes out of it (i hope)
Gracias por este punto niño tienesmucha razon, cuando vamos ganando como que nos "INFLAMOS"y bajamos la intencidad del juego ...
That's right...
Yeah, I am overstating it by saying that he is washed up, but we shouldn't be praising the dude for making good passes deep in the attacking zone when we need him to stop making bad defensive mistakes that cost the team a goal. Thought the goal was a defensive break down, it just wasn't his doing.
